remember watching him on SNL weekend update , pretty funny comedian with a unique style , the way he paused after each delivery ...I always believed he was from the western part of Canada but just found out he was born in Quebec City , sadly he was only 61 ... RIP NM

He was always entertaining when he appeared on Howard Stern.

He was one of the best and totally unapologetic in his comedy. There were no sacred cows or off limit topics for him. An executive at NBC, who was a close friend of O.J. Simpson, told Norm to stop telling jokes on SNL about O.J. during his murder trial. After O.J.'s acquittal, Norm cracked - "Well it is finally official. Murder is now legal in the state of California." Norm was promptly fired by NBC.

His 1998 comedy film Dirty Work is underrated,imo.

One of my favorites, plus the actor who played Shooter McGavin was the bad guy in that movie lol

I took this photo today outside the Wilbur Theater in Boston. I saw him perform there in the past and he was scheduled to be there this October. RIP Norm, gone too soon!

RIP Norm... he was definitely one of a kind. Howard Stern did a nice tribute to him today (didn't catch all of it). Which is how I found out the Iron Sheik tweeted about Norm too.
