No, unless your phone can have 2 SIM cards. But there are texting apps that some SPs use that give you a different phone number.

About SPs remembering your name, unless you see her regularly, i would not worry about it. DO you really think they remember EVERY guy's name ? It's like at work place when a customer tells me " Do you remember me ? " I usually answer , You do not want me to remember your name, if i do it's because something bad happened, lol

Dual sim phones, many modern phones have that. E-sim etc. However from what I have seen (I have not researched the matter ) your local carrier may implement it in a limited way, ie: you have to buy the second number from them as they need to activate it for you. In this way the carrier knows the second number is yours too, and that in turn defeats what you want to do in terms of identify. Much easier just going the burner route.

The manufacturer of the phone(s) of course made dual sim phones with respect of you travelling internationally. But while you are not, and want to use your phone locally for whatever reason (second line for running a business whatever) the local carriers can be greedy by forcing you to get the second sim from them as well.

There are degrees to how much privacy you want. If a separate phone number is good enough, then yes, getting an extra sim for a dual SIM phone is good enough.

For me, I don't like that it is still connected to my phone. My phone would use the data from the sim sometimes. I'm worried that accidentally leak my personal data. But it is very annoying to carry two phones around. I got lazy and forget to carry my 2nd phone when I travel. But if you live in Montreal and hobby in Montreal, I don't see it as a big problem.

Yes, you just have to use one of the various iPhone/Android apps like Burner or Hushed that create a virtual burner number for you to use.

I personally know clients and SPs who have been deported for being a sex tourist or sex worker. I also personally know of guys who accidentally gotten their info leaked thru using their real phone and extorted for money. I know of guys who keep their extra hobbying phone at the office so their wife doesn't see it.

For me, I forget to bring my second phone sometimes, and used my own phone number to see SPs, and that number is linked to my consulting business, which was a very dumb mistake that could cost me.

Just because you're not important and have nothing to lose doesn't mean it's the same for everyone else.

I know for a fact agencies keep numbers and names. When i booked the # was recorded to the name given. The idea was to determine if dude was a good repeating customer or not. Some numbers were on a blocked list as in "don't send anyone to this dude" in wich case the instructions was to not even reply.

Now i dunno the level of confidentiality when i call like if my name show up... In texts (wich i use the most) i don't think it does. On a reverse 411 it only gives the nearby biggest town. Nothing else.

Even tough i have nothing to hide in this hobby aka not ashamed of partaking and all my family and friends know i do, i still need think its important to keep some privacy.

Lots of bad peoples in the business and altough my search model is very safe and i avoid 95% of them, i value said privacy.

Ill give my name to an SP that give me hers. It mean we trust each others. I respect and value this. I am NOT in the favor of the American model wich is 1 sided where the SP got everything on you and you don't.

Thats why i don't want to do deposits by bank cause it does give your full name.

I always thought they keep records and always used the same number, since I was proud of my track record. But then I misplaced that SIM, used a new number, and it seemed like they didn't really care.
