Ottawa to Centre Bell today directions

Hi guys just looking for advice on the best way to get there by car today. Was told that that major construction is going on this weekend. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Indeed there must be something closed on H20 as google map will send you via H40 at vaudreuil, all the way to H15 south to 720 which brings you close to Bell centre. You should calculate 2 1/2 hours and not the usual 2h it should take.

You have never used Google maps before? It shows the best route plus any accidents or construction zones.

Ya Sol I have it says that parts of the highway will be closed at certain times today. But it does not show exactly the location or times. Could just be overnight construction but I have no clue.

While driving ( when nearby ) it will give you the quickest route.

Rangers fan? Traffic will suck no matter what, but at least its a Saturday so hopefully there be less traffic.

One option could be to take the 30 and come in from the south shore. You could park at Metro Longueuil and get safely on time to bell center

Just got back from hobbying in Ottawa. After getting screwed in a good way I got screwed in a bad way bc access to Hwy 40 is closed at Vaudreuil as Jalimon pointed out. You will be rerouted thru the town of Vaudreuil with a bunch of traffic lights before getting onto hwy 20 on the island of Montreal which indeed will take you to the Bell Center. Not great for going to Laval though!
