Malkin makes his first appearance at the Bell on Dec. 16. Can't wait. I'll be there.

Hey Spin,

How ya doing in your new digs, buddy? I agree with your assessment of Malkin. After watching him play in the Olympics, this guy is for real. To call him the best player in the world not to play in the NHL might be an understatement. Can't hardly wait for the start of the NHL season.

Hey there picasso,

Things are cool my friend thanks for asking, been travelling a lot so haven't really settled in yet, but so far so good - Miss the hell out of Montreal!

Don't forgot guys that teams in the Russian Super Leauge are notorious for being crooked (sometimes criminal) organizations who often breach contracts.

Eric Chouinard just left (sorry forgot the team) when he was injured (back) and then the team proceded to accuse him of being hurt prior to arriving (even though he completed training camp - which by the way is like Marine boot camp over there - and passed a team physical) they did not respect his contract! Another player from this same team, a German who has played in the NHL also just left (yesterday) due to a dispute of his contract - I will update this thread with the name of the second player and team name later on - slipped my mind right now.

Anyway looking forward to watching Malkin and Crosby evolve together! Saw the Habs the other day on TV (Calgary game), I miss my Canadiens - They look like they're playing some decent hockey, need to get that second line going though.

Stay cool Gentleman and keep the NHL threads going for me.
