Political fall-out from the Vacouver Olympics

The lack of French at the Olympics is generating a lot of negative plubicity in the Quebec French media and talk shows.
Could this lead to a backlash against English Canada and another wave of nationalism and support for the PQ`s desire for another referrendum on seperation.
I`m afraid so.

There was French spoken during the opening ceremony.

But yes, the opening ceremony did seem to ignore Quebec, and Ontario as well.

I suspect it may be more of an West Coast-East Coast thing.
