Think about it this way guys, Mods 8 & 11 have managed to divert this entire thread away from real any real criticism or critique of this board by simply picking a "cat fight". Are they good or what? The fact that EE and shijak have totally agreed with many of my points has absolutely nothing to do with it!! Mods 8 & 11 have simply thrown out a few insults and totally diverted the thread. Nice Job Mods!!!

So one of the main points of shijak's original post was to communicate that the moderators were a large part of the problem. So Mod 11 posts a point that should have been made either via "sticky" or via PM or via an amended rule. Then Moderator 8 misreads (by his own admission. Not sure if English is 8's first language or not) my posts and singles me out by addressing his response directly to me. Mod 8, suggest you make general posts and not addressed to me primarily. You know, THE WHOLE WORLD IS NOT ABOUT ME!! In other words, Moderators YOU ARE A LARGE PART OF THE PROBLEM!!

P.S. Moderators, I'm simply discussing the issues brought up. Please don't take it personally....LOL

That said your ignore list concept is interesting. Sure that other posters have them while others prefer to keep such posters in the dark, off balance and guessing.

Well CS is sure making a total mockery of this thread turning it into his personal agenda and feud thread. Want to know one reason why a lot of people just lurk here? Just go back and read this thread and see how it started with some very interesting relevant points, then turned into a personal agenda dare against the mods. Is this what is supposed to attract lurkers or encourage them to come out publicly and support???

This has turned into a hijack, pure and simple. If this happened in the sports section it would have been closed, and being permissive of a disturber just avoid the trap of his baiting self-persecution phobias has been a lesson in how to be self-defeating. Since when has Merb changed policy to allow so many hijacking posts just to coddle a disturber daring the authorities to stick to the rules he's breaking so deliberately?

Truthfully, it should not be used for this. Simply, it just hides the content of that poster and makes for a more pleasant reading experience. It also allows a poster to simply explain why he or she doesn't even bother to respond to a particular poster (usually some idiot with his own personal agenda). Mod 11 has made it clear both publicly and privately that he views this as a maniputation of the rules. One would simply have to ask, "What is the point of the facility?". The answer is simply the above explanation. Manipulation of the rules? or use of a facility provided for in the rules? You decide....

Here's another good question. Is the Moderators discouragement and obvious disdain of the facility simply a hypocritical position? It's available, but you shouldn't use it.....

Neither Moderator seems to be able to handle simple logic. They seem to say one thing, then do another. There is no consistency in application or mangement. Further, they seem to make up rules as they go along. Then reverse themselves with convuluted logic. Again, just publicly discussing the overall state of the board.

You attempted to make it much more important than it really is in order to make yourself, once again, the center of attention. The only reason you have not been banned permanently is that it would not surprise me to see you pop up on merc minutes after, spewing the same venom you attempt to spread here.

I have moved these posts to their own thread. Normally such a cleaning would result in these posts being removed from the public board completely. I have decided to leave them on the board to act as evidence of a particular member once again corrupting a thread to the point where it centers on himself instead of the discussion at hand.
