Question

This is something I've been wondering since joining this board a few weeks ago. Do many of the Montreal agency Sps have accounts on MERB?, or is this discouraged by the agencies for some reason? I've been a member of PERB for just over a year and I've found it's quite common there-- in fact with my favorite agency out here most of the girls have a PERB account and are quite frequently found contributing to the discussions (I've had a few respond with thank-yous and pleasant notes to positive reviews I had written). I know there are some Sps on here but most them, from what I can tell, are independents. One thought I had was that the girls were discouraged by the agencies from coming on here for fear that they might start privately arranging bookings without going through the agency in question. This hasn't been my experience on the board over here-- in fact it's a great asset to be able to get a hold of the agency girls through PM. On more than one occasion there was a girl who I was dying to see, but that had a rather erratic shedule, or one that was incongruent with mine. I would simply PM them and we would arrange a time to meet, after which I would call her agency and tell them that I had arranged to meet here at such and such a time, and the date would proceed as normally. As one could guess it's an amazing convenience to be able to set up bookings with otherwise very hard to book girls this way.

Another thing about these boards that has struck me, especially in situations where many of the girls are reading as well, is the sheer, well, ridiculousness of it all. I mean, as the reviewers us guys don't think of it from this angle as much, but imagine if you were in a position where the girls you slept with would go write and publically post a detailed and honest account of their experience with you and assign a rating? I wonder how many of us would be able to handle this? I mean, I'm as confident as the next guy, and I know I have a good reputation with the women in my life (both sps and not) but still...the thought of being in the same position as these girls with respect to these review boards is just about enough to make my fragile male ego shudder.

If you're wondering if they read the threads? The answer is yes.

Do they have handles that you would recognise as SPs? Most likely, no.

Is this typically a matter of personal discretion?, or are the girls discouraged from making their presence known, for whatever reason? I'm only asking because, like I said, that's not how it is on the pacific board. Most of the girls I know and communicate with (who are all from the same agency, mind you) have the same handle on the board as they do at the agency.

More ladies would join in active discussions if it weren't for the fact that too many of the male membership just don't know how to keep their paws off. there are many instances of ladies who were just harassed out of here, to the point that they have chosen to limit their involvement to lurking, and the odd communication with current /prospective clients.
Just tonight i saw in the new member column a well known agency girl's name, and I'm sure that she'll activate her invisible function and just surf around with the occasional pm to whomever she likes, unbeknownst from everybody else (probably even the agency owner). We possibly have dozens of well-reviewed SP's scampering about at any given time.
Personally, i'd love more involvement by the girls, but i completely understand their reasons from abstaining. i've often thought to encourage some of Cleo's dancers I've spoken with who have told me they regularly drop by to check out what is said about them and their co-workers, but i don't think they need the aggravation.
My hat's off to all the ladies who do contribute regularly or less, thanks for being here...

Hmm; I never thought of that. It's really too bad because from what I can tell having active participation from the girls makes for a more balanced perspective, as opposed to just getting one side of it all the time. As an added bonus it also allows you to get a feel for the girl's personality, which is a definite plus because that goes a long way helping me decide if I will have a good connection with them.

Yeah, I noticed her too. It was funny but I saw her name there right after I made this post and I couldn't help but note the timing.

Very true. From an SC perspective, I am aware of a couple of merbites who are disliked by dancers, but you would never know it from their posts. It would be great to have the dancers respond, but I know that will never happen. Check also Spiderman's blog about a dancer classifying some customers as "rapists".
