In case you missed it : "Of course I am exaggerating. Scientifically and technically they produce the best in the world."

But if you look carefully at the graph you provided, you can see that the amount of Nobel Prizes in USA is comparable to the rate in other developed Countries when you correct for the population.
It is no surprise that US scores higher with it 350 millions population. With 40 millions population, Canada is doing well. The same for UK, Germany and others.

Before posting a graph, it is better to understand numbers.

Adjusted for population, both the US/Canada and Western Europe have been awarded more than 100 Nobel Prizes per 100 million people, compared to only 1.41 Nobel Prizes awarded per 100 million Africans. As mentioned above, Africa (1.41) is just slightly behind Asia (1.45) for laureates per 100 million population.
