Does anyone know if the 5 Quizno's slated for Montreal are open yet? There is nothing better than one of those parmesan/rosemary bread loafs after a romp with an espy.
Doesn't matter to me: I'll never go to any business who's speakperson is an absolute retard idiot who hates anybody who's not white and speaking english... (That's Don Cherry)
You're kidding right? Mikes are to submarines and pizza what McDonalds are to hamburgers. The only place to get a good sub is from your local pizza/sub parlor, whichever one happens to be your fave. My favorite pizza is from Trevi in Verdun and their subs are great too. Manzo's in LaSalle also has great subs. But Mikes? No thanks.

I agree with you about Mikes now. But the best subs I ever had (my mouth is watering just thinking about them - even after all these years) were from the "hole in the wall" Mikes on Somerled just before Cavendish in NDG circa 1970. The best steak and cheese subs I ever ate!!!! Was a "regular" there in the early '70s. Went back there a few months ago - ordered the steak & cheese - could not even finish it. What a disappointment.
I bought 6 2 foot loaves of quizno's rosemary parmesan bread after a show in ottawa last month...I brought it home and froze it, but it was gone in 4 days...
I love how they put a generous amount of mayo, oil & vinegar, lettuce, etc. on your sub. That, in combination with the toasted bread, makes it an awesome juicy thick sub.
Yeah, it's not healthy for you, but awfully tasty.
