When a SP asks you to "uber me?" What is the procedure dealing with Uber from a newbie?

Personally, the option to "uber me" there and back is only an alternative to sending a deposit. I'm not leaving unless I know my ride is covered. So it isn't my first choice but some people prefer this over sending a deposit.

I can't say I've been particularly concerned about the person changing the address midway... I'm not sure what the goal would be. And the uber driver would for sure say something anyway.

And don't give your home address for the pick-up! Give an address a few blocks away and walk there lol
Thanks, Anna. I will propose to her to send a deposit to cover her taxi ride. Otherwise, I'll forget it and find another SP on Saturday. I do not know why this needs to be so complicated! Or, on another day, I will go to see her at her incall location.

This is what I would do. I'm sure there are exceptions, but if an SP asks me for transportation money separately instead of just factoring it into the price, my personal Spider Senses go up.

But it's complicated because some choose to make it so. Once you're done dealing with transportation money, your next hurdle (cuz it's now becoming a "thing") is the client paying for the hotel room cuz I guess she doesn't have a steady incall. At least when outcall is an option, you know what the outcall price is upfront. She has to tell you what the hotel cost after you book. So dumb.

Umm, if she is being driven out, then it is already your hotel room you paid for. Incall is she pays her own room. Outcall is you've paid your room to have her come to you.

Or am i missing something here?

Yes price for her to come to your location you provided.

She's not booking the hotel, how would she be telling you what the room costs, or why would she be requesting room rental when your the one who rented it?

Sorry but this just kind of gave me a brain glitch as it is 2 sides to different coins. An outcall provider is not renting the room, so has no reason to ask for rental cost, but needs transportation to get to the location. Rental cost is the issue for an incall provider, who doesn't need transportation.

Thanks, Carmine. The hotel is on Cotes des Neiges and the total price for two hours includes extra and the uber cost of $10. Yet, if I am to have an uber sent to her, then that will be extra cost for me over and above the full price, including extras.

I'm not talking an outcall provider, or at least a provider who advertises as such. I've come across those. There is complete transparency and lack of ambiguity in listing only outcall prices. The providers I'm talking about have listed incall AND outcall prices. Interestingly enough, both prices are the exact same for this particular provider. It's only when the booking process is further along that there is mention of an additional fee to book the hotel room. It's nowhere in the ad.

I've also seen listings where the provider notes she lacks a permanent incall location and notes the client's portion for the hotel room in the ad.

It's important to note the majority of ads where I'm browsing have incall prices built in, as in there's no additional cost for the incall. The incall fee separate from the incall price is something I've only recently seen or experienced.

I'm sure paying for a permanent incall spot isn't cheap, especially if you are solely responsible for that cost and not sharing it with another provider. (I've mostly paid for outcall for the better part of a decade). I'm just saying whatever your model is, just have all the info in the ad.

Have a question: how someone can scam trough Uber service? Had an issue about someone who ask me to pay for food delivery but that person was quite far away from my location? Also the text and pics that I received was as if she was not only her who was texting: the best one was sending pics but it wasn’t her Didn’t download the pics on my phone and keep going to do the innocent until the Uber issue. After that I wish her a good day and block her. I red about Uber scam but it’s not clear or I didn’t read the good articles about.

I am not sure I understand, someone asked you to send them food via Uber? Or they asked you to send them a Uber card?
