I read your whole comment. You also didn't seem to read mine. We are talking about children here not adults. Once you get to a certain age you are responsible for your own actions and way of thinking of course but as a child you are heavily influenced by your parents
Thank you for doing so. I also read yours attentively.
Hence why we started with illegally parked shopping carts and feet on subway benches; where I doubt are the behaviour of unsupervised childs but adults.
It might be why/where I strayed from. I will assume my perception.
We may have a different perspective of life, but I write like most do, In hope of finding that sacred inclusion, everyone talks about, I can't seem to find anywhere, so that one may relate. Like a family could do...

Enough random thoughts from me today. I enjoyed reading most of it.
I agree with you. As a child you are heavily influenced by your parents.

The thing was that fradi was referring to very young people being rude.. so I understand why he said their parents are a bit responsible for this. But yeah otherwise I agree

Having your feet up on an empty seat in the metro, yeah not much manners but nothing to get riled up about or make a scene over.

During summer I don’t care so much, during winter quand c’est plein de slush partout that’s disgusting and classless

It is disgusting and classless the whole year.
There is a reason it is called a seat.
A bit of common courtesy goes a long way.

No I know, I wouldn’t do it and I would judge people harshly if I’ve seen them but I wouldn’t say anything during summer. During winter I’ll use my big girl voice and will say something

It is useless to confront these type of people.
They either just don’t give a fuck or are looking for a confrontation.
I block them out as if they don’t exist, they are not worth a minute of my time.

I think it actually says a lot about somebody if they go ahead and act like they are the police or an expert in conservative manners...

Ultimately yes it's not good if somebody does something dirty like out their feet on an empty seet in the metro. But there are worse things in life..

The problem with this is that an employee will have to clean the seats not that some old man is pissed off by seeing a youth taking up space in an empty metro wagon

No neither one of these is a problem.
The employee is paid to clean seats.
The old man has plenty of empty seats to sit on.

The problem is the person doing this has no common courtesy or decency towards other people and basically doesn’t give a fuck about anything or anyone else other than his or her comfort and yes it works its way back to not having any of these values instilled in this person by parents.

Obviously you are responsible for your own actions once you are an adult but these type of people simply don’t give a fuck. I don’t confront them as for me they don’t exist and are not worth my time.

Ok so because I once put my feet on an empty seat because I felt unwell 10 years ago I don't exist and I am not worth your time... Have a nice day
So you have managed to be the victim again lol. Seems you love playing that role.
Yes had I walked into that metro I would have blocked you out as if you didn’t exist, and you would not have been worth my time, you would not have walked out balling your eyes out either.

Disrespect?
You were the one with your dirty feet up on a seat lady.
Keep playing the victim this is what you do best.
I'm not playing the victim lol
Are you for real playing the police because once in my life I did this... Which almost everyone has??? Honestly I don't care for your antagonistic attitude towards me. It's ridiculous and we had a private conversation to settle it before

I am not playing any kind of police.
I couldn’t care less what you did or where you put your feet.
I simply don’t care for people who disrespect others and can’t behave with common courtesy in public and that has nothing to do with us having common close friends, I did not attack you personally, you are the one constantly turning yourself into a victim even when clearly it is your own actions that were at fault.
If you feel guilty about it don’t take it out on me.
I am sure you don’t make a habit of it anymore.

WTF

This is not a productive exchange so let's leave it at that. I hope you have a nice weekend

I'm not turning myself into a victim and I think it's really fucked up that you are using that phrase to describe me. It's not like I'm taking about being violent towards somebody. You're delusional if you think there is a person who has never done something that's a bit rude. Like the way you're talking to me now. We had a conversation.
Really why are you so bent out of shape and playing the victim with me. You didn’t seem to have an issue with LC18 calling it disgusting and classless?

No one has been able to offer a plausible explanation as to why the poster child of the Epstein/Maxwell sex trafficking enterprise and author of a NY Times bestseller detailing her life as a sex slave (Virginia Giuffre) ... didn't testify in the Ghislaine Maxwell trial!
Virginia Giuffre had firsthand knowledge of the entire Epstein/Maxwell sex trafficking enterprise!
Why was she a no-show during the Maxwell trial?
(Something doesn't add up!)

Virginia Giuffre had firsthand knowledge of the entire Epstein/Maxwell sex trafficking enterprise!
Why was she a no-show during the Maxwell trial?
(Something doesn't add up!)
Few reasons:
- Prosecutors' Strategy: Prosecutors chose not to call Giuffre to the stand to avoid subjecting a high-profile witness to intense cross-examination aimed at attacking her credibility.
- Defense Focus on Credibility: Maxwell’s defense team heavily criticized Giuffre’s allegations, attacking her credibility to suggest other witnesses were also unreliable.

But mainly at the time of the criminal trial, Giuffre was focused on her own civil lawsuit against Prince Andrew for sexual assault. Which she won.

But why do people put their feet up on seats? Even when I was “disabled” I didn’t do it.

I bet that’s why they no longer put fabric seats on the bus, too many people would put their feet on their seats

Also, wasn’t that the main reason the STM was on strike? There are issues with the cleaning staff

Last point, during the pandemic we actually found out that they do not clean the metro that often

So yeah just put your feet on the ground people :)

Obviously I don't think anybody should be throwing stuff out in the metro like I've seen people do it or vandalizing it or putting their feet on the seats.. I'm just saying that most people have done that once in their lives. Clearly I don't do that anymore. My point was also that some people are more bothered by someone taking up space (space that they could take themselves when there is more than enough) or annoying them, rather than causing more trouble for cleaning staff. I'm annoyed by people who leave their shopping carts in random places, not because I have to push the cart away from me but because someone will have to pick it up. For me it's a minor inconvenience and I don't intend on enjoying a power trip by lecturing someone in a public space who is ''doing something wrong'' (which isn't harming somebody)
