This story is so ridiculous because Barbie is just short for Barbara, which was a popular name in the mid 20th century

Asian-specific is not my wheelhouse but there's prob more Asian sps in the GTA than anywhere outside of maybe Vancouver. You should have no problem seeking them out (check Terb, as Lena mentioned).
