Recent Hotel Recommendations & where to get good prices on them

I know there`s this sticky post with links to hotels (https://merb.cc/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=58985#post58985) however it`s a little old and I was hoping to get some recommendations on where to stay for one night that is SP friendly and moderately priced (ideally $100 or less for the night). I assume staying downtown is more convenient for most SPs.

Also, if anyone knows good websites for getting discounts on hotels, please let me know.

Try priceline , hotwire, or expedia. You should be able to get a four star downtown for what your willing to spend or less.

also there is a large hotel thread in the lounge that may be a page or 2 back but lots of information on bidding available.
