I will be coming to Montreal shortly with a guest, and am looking for recommendations for a good jazz club, preferably in the downtown area. The jazz I'm interested in is traditional jazz, including Brazilian, without any of the funky stuff. A jazz band with a female vocalist would be nice, as well.
