I think Mike's logic is that prices should be low because demand is much lower for male escorts. But the offer is also lower so it balances out. I have a feeling that the few women who are actually willing to pay an escort may be more generous than the average male client. I imagine that women who pay are really looking for top quality; if they want average they can easily get it for free.

As for porn, male actors are paid less because the target clients are mostly male and don't care about the male actors.

This is simply based on the fact that male actors in porn are paid less, like i said, but also the fact that i dunno, the concept of a male escort really have trouble sticking in my head. I mean, even fat or less than attractive girls often manage to score "well looking dude" in real life. But how many time you see a guy that is ok looking, not great, not ugly either, be with a girl that i personally would never be interested in... I am not inventing, women are more selective. They often go for the feelings first too.

But hey if the guy do this as a job and pay advertisement, there must be demand, and i do wish him the best of luck, but personally this surprise me a lot he can manage to charge 300$/h...
