Hi, I had a question about sending deposits.

I don't have a problem sending a deposit, but the only issue is they include my name in the email. Is there a way around this? It's the only reason I'm kind of hesitant to do it.

Can’t speak for other girls but will speak for myself.

i rarely ask for a deposit but sometimes will do when it comes to multi hour date, unless I know the guy or he’s a trusted board member or twitter follower with an online presence.

IF I do ask a deposit and you don’t want me to know your name, I offer two other options. You can either give me a reference from a reputable provider (not a random on annonceintine lol), or you can send the deposit in the form of an e-gift card so you don’t have to give me your name.

Again I very very rarely resort to deposits but that’s how I do it. You can always ask the lady if she has any other screening options or if she’d accept an e-gift card instead of e-transfer.

Patron I think I know who you’re talking about. It’s unfortunate because she’s really pretty LOL.

Luckily there are very few ladies in Montreal that will ask for a deposit.
The ones I see are repeats mostly, and I can give references if needed, with the occasional new lady that for some reason I can’t resist.

it is not that I mind a deposit it just becomes bothersome, besides if I cancel with less than 24 hours I will pay them the whole amount for that booking , either at our next meeting or anytime that we are both free for a coffee their choice.

My word is worth more than one booking, it is not going to put me in a different tax bracket.
I don’t play games with these ladies their time is just as valuable as mine.

Deposit in Montreal are rare indeed. I know a few higher end SPs that do it (400/h+ range). For 1 Hour bookings i mean, of course if you book for 3-4 hours if i would be an SP i would be nervous with a first time client to reserve the whole afternoon with him out of the blue without any guarentee.

Obviously its always a matter of trust. If you trust the SP in question/her reputation , if you trust her to get your name (unless you can work your way around it as some said with gift cards etc)

Its a shame really that no-show or "ghost" are such frequent, it screw the fun for us legit clients.

You can create a PayPall account with a nick name . The info like your real name doesn't shown on the banking transaction. But recently , some SP complaint about Paypall. They have some problem with them !

Paypal always has been really anti-sex industry. Back in the days you couldn't even buy adult movies out of ebay with paypal, had to pay with money order or some crap like that. Unless your seller was cool and accepted to just receive the transaction outside ebay, just using the "send money" method without putting an ebay number, wich is what i did a couple times. So yeah if paypal find out its for sex work they will freeze and keep all the money and terminate the account...

This is a business of trust, respect and reciprocity. I’ll never send a deposit for a regular meeting (1h-2h). If I’m not trusted enough for a booking I’d rather not even go because I will not feel welcomed or trusted. I would understand however a deposit for longer appointments because it really fills out the schedule and the SP would risk loosing a lot.

Deposits arent as rare as you might think. As Julia pointed out many of us use to for longer bookings, but also when a client has no showed one too many times (but does sometimes show). It is much easier to get a deposit than it is to get a cancellation fee.

Also a few of us use it as an incentive. My guests can forward me $50 deposit via amazon, paypal, or my onlyfans acct, and I will give them a reduced rate (250 instead of 300).

Yes this too! I’ve seen girls offer discounts on future dates if prebooked with a deposit during slow periods:)

I do it all year round because if someone knows well enough in advance and I can plan my week around them they deserve a little treat. I hate last minutes & same days. I am too busy with school and personal life, which is annoying for guests who want same days and for me.

There was a retired indy who used to advertise here and take deposits from Americans who book her but they are only here for short period so they lose the deposit if they have an emergency lol.. or she would cancel on them and they would not get their money back because they left Montreal already easy money for her so she did this as much as she could before leaving the industry and she had a good reputation too.
Why pay a deposit when she can decide to take a break or quit anytime for personal reasons?

Ugh it is the worst when providers do things like that. It makes all of us seem untrustworthy. If I cancel on my guests, I forward th emoney back to them or I used it as a deposit on their next visit (if they are a regular) and throw on an extra 15-30m the next time the come around.

So true. That' why I prefer to book through established agencies (who happen to be Merb sponsors too). No hassles. No offense to the Indies and I am certain I will get to some of you, many of whom are quality ladies based upon what my Merbit friends have told me.

Heck, maybe try sending cash via UPS or other local couriers -- yes, the SP will need to provide you with her address or at least an address. Hopefully, after you develop trust with the SP's, they won't be asking you for a deposit.
