Sex trafficking?

Hello all. I am an occasional visitor to Montreal and find the monger scene to be possibly the best in the world. I especially like the fact the young women I have met (all through agencies) seem to be pretty together, often talking about how they are saving for a big vacation or investing in a business. I have never had the feeling that my money would be injected into her arm as soon as I walk away.

However, I have once or twice used an agency that specializes in Asian girls (you know the one) and they seem different. Like the girls often have zero English or French language and they stay in town only a short time. I am concerned that these girls are being trafficked against their will. I love having sex with them, but I want no part of exploitation or slavery.

If anyone has more info that would ease my mind (or not) I would love to hear it.

I’ve only used the micro you speak about in Montreal once. I can guarantee that the woman I saw was the furthest thing from being trafficked. She is a bit of a sex buddy that I have seen in a couple other cities in Canada. I know she is doing this for the money, is f...ing awesome at it and does it of her own free will. Can’t speak for all of them but my experience tells me no - cause I’d have the same problem. This activity is all about showing the utmost respect, listening, and never crossing lines. I always say - your the boss. Toronto Calgary and Vancouver micros are way better than Montreal. But as you say Montreal women are the best in the world. My 2 cents

what do you mean by 'micros'?

in all my years, i strongly beleive i did not once encounter a 'trafficed' sex worker...i'm not saying it does not exist (ok julia?), but really has anybody come accross this? maybe it is extremely rare in montreal, or maybe the way i choose my sps makes it unlikely for me to encounter it.

In Western Canada " Micro" means small massage parlor that is staffed by Asians, and usually has mostly Asian customers.
Often the ladies speak little English, and are here strictly for business. They work for a few weeks or months then go back to Asia.
Sometimes they are students visiting in their off season, or students attending school in Canada.

I’m not sure why the term Micro. They are not Massage places in western Canada or Toronto for that matter. Some of the better micros have a couple of locations in the city with 1-5 women working at a location. The Kpop stars will stay for months in places like Vancouver and Toronto. In places like Calgary Edmonton the good ones stay for 2-3-4 weeks and the ones that aren’t busy don’t last a week. Supply & demand. I think some of these places are affiliated and you’ll see the same girls touring from Toront out west or from Vancouver to Edmonton/ Calgary.

Some years ago, maybe 20, not sure maybe more, there was a strip club in downtown Montreal named 777. I went there once, so strange, all asians girls, very young. they had numbers on them. If one wanted a girl to dance, he had to go at the bar mention the number of the girl he wanted and pay for the dance. So the girls never handled the money. I found it so weird, I had my beer and left. Some time after, I read that the club was closed and that it was a case of sexual exploitation. That seems to me as sex traficking.

This may help OP: It's from the New York Times, but it still gives you an idea about paid sex for immigrant Asian women. What happens is often in a gray area. It can't be exactly described as trafficking, but it isn't that great either. How much this should affect your consumption habits is up to you.
