This could eventually bring a whole new meaning to the classic review statement that "Her service was very mechanical..." For some, this may proved to be a more responsive alternative to an ordinary inflatable doll. But I'm a bit worried...if there's a bug, could one of these robots suddently switch to a "Terminator" mode???

Hello Lion Heart,

Did you ever meet Alexandra of the old Montreal Girlfriends"? If you had you would know that "sex with robots" was old news. I remember writing a good review about how beautiful she was, but the sex was more the fulfillment of fantasies of being with a beautiful woman than a truly magical sex experience. When someone like her discovers you aren't the motherload of future revenues, the sex becomes a chore for her. Simply, it was robotic.

Okay, enough of old news. The article is fascinating. But for me it is one more case of "what will they think of next"? The article also refers to the stigma of having sex with a robot..."people are still going to feel like losers if that is their last resort". I think it will be a novelty that many will try. Well, I guess you can't blame people for their curiosity. But if this becomes anyones vital source of sexual fulfillment, or something to fill the void of loneliness, then robots will be a symptom of disfunction. Face it, nothing can replace a real woman..."unfortunately"...lol.

Did you ever meet Alexandra of the old Montreal Girlfriends"?

Alexandra! One of my greatest regrets since day 1 in the hobby was having never met her, whether 'on the job' or outside of it. I felt we were close at one point in a 'friendly kind of way', meeting up regularly in my chatroom at night. I had hoped to take her to a concert once in Mtl, but I found out once i got into town that she was away on business in NYC. Another regret of mine was not attending her Halloween party in two adjoining suites at the Sheraton Four Points. There was a snowstorm sweeping up the continent that weekend & i figured there'd be more 'Montreal Girlfriends' parties & other opportunities to meet Alexandra, who was dressed as Catwoman that night. Meow!!!

As for 'mechanical' sex partners, i've had my share. One of my worse 'mechanical' times occurred about 3 years ago during a duo. I had made the mistake of switching one of the girls in the duo for another which i had never seen before. The chemistry i had with the regular girl & another girl named Jennifer was perfect.....with the new combo, zero chemistry.....the other girl was way too mechanical for my tastes. I put a premature end to the duo & never repeated the experience. But one day......

As for 'robots', i remember a handle years ago on another board. The name of the handle was SavetheRobots. The person behind the handle was totally against the escort business & referred to all sps as being nothing but robots. Come to think of it today, that person might have been on to something. Recently, i spoke to an sp who explained to me her routine & how it works when she's on the road doing incalls. I passed the comment to her that it reminded me of an assembly line at an automobile factory. The car is slowly being moved around to either technicians or robots as it is being built.....kind of like the scene in the room when client after client is going through its doors to get serviced by the 'robot' inside. Hmmm....

Alexandra reminds me of Emma of FKS...soooooo mercenary. Ample money got you a fabulous time. Little money got you ignored. These were two of the most calculating, fake SPs I ever met. Yes, very beautiful and dazzling to the mind...well...at least Emma had her show far more perfected. She knew how to make even a scripted act feel wonderful. But even a robot would know not to say...``oh, don`t you know you made me cum five times``. I guess that`s what a companion does. These two has so much potential, but there was nothing truly genuine at all.

I think you saw her long before my visit in late 2002. Maybe I did make her cum 5 times. Maybe I am just too modest and I really am le Super Stud...lol...yeah right . En anglais, le nom de cette série télévisée animée, une pastiche de Patrouille du Cosmos/Star Trek, est Tripping the Rift et le nom de l'androide programmée pour le sexe est "SIX".

Dans la nouvelle adaptation de la série télévisée Battlestar Galactica, on retrouve également plusieurs androides "Cylon" assez charmantes... Number Six (coincidence avec l'autre série) jouée par l'Albertaine Tricia Helfer (modèle chez Victoria Secret) serait mon genre. Danna (Number Three) jouée par la Nouvelle-Zélandaise Lucy Lawless n'est pas mal non plus...

Ah yes...fantasy robots à la Disney Vacation style...strangely, it's the male cowboy android who had the system crash...the program of the "Lady of Joy" seemed to work fine...didn't her eyes lighted up at climax time or was it in another movie?

Another interesting old movie about sex in the future was Woody Allen's Sleeper ("Woody et les robots" en français). Not exactly robotic sex, but the "Orgasmestron" booths seemed to had an exilirating effect on Woody but in the end, sex the old fashion way prevailed...

Speaking of which, in the futuristic Arnold Schwarznegger sci-fi film "The 6th Day", this concept is explored with "virtual escorts", which I think are called "holograms" in the movie. They are basically three dimensional apparitions - and are used in the movie by the Michael Rapaport character. I found it to be
amusing, and so did the Schwarznegger character, who harasses and teases the Rapaport character for using these virtual escorts as opposed to real ones.

Speaking of which, in the futuristic Arnold Schwarznegger sci-fi film "The 6th Day", this concept is explored with "virtual escorts", which I think are called "holograms" in the movie. They are basically three dimensional apparitions - and are used in the movie by the Michael Rapaport character.

Virtual reality....wouldn't it be nice if such a thing as the "Holodeck" from the Star Trek, Next Generation Edition TV series, would actually exist? At the touch of a button, finally being able to meet the woman of your dream in the most romantic fantasy setting possible...
