Sexual Coercion????????

This is the first time in my life I have ever heard the term ""sexual coercion" used. It sounds like "pussywhipped", to me, but it seems like Kanye West's attorneys have invented an all new legal defense!!!!!! Looking at the photo of this lady and the rack on her, part of me understands what is going on here (as a man), although part of me says this is a shakedown on one side and bad behavior on the other, and they deserve to be in Court with one another. Human nature is that the only men who get consistently subjected to "sexual coercion", are those who are known to want it:

She used to be the manager of Nykee Heaton or however her name is spelled. They would post very strange photos together, half naked photos and then Nikiee or however it’s spelled went live on Instagram I think and was completely naked.

This manager seems to always be into some odd situations.

Kanye West is claiming sexual coercion, not the female assistant. He was paying her to be his assistant (supposedly at a salary of $1 million annually- which last time I checked is pretty good for an assistant).

Something tells me this whole situation falls in the grey zone. A little bit of both is likely correct.
He hired her for more than just assistant duties. He likely has done some of what she claims, and likely agreed to it for better pay, or hopeing things might progress and she be the next mrs. Kanye. Reason for dismissal could very well be not being a good assistant, or could be not being willing to sexual advances.

Both of them have pasts that make it a sticky situation.

Bottom line though, i doubt he hired her just to be an assistant, as having her as eye candy while being his assistant is more likely the reason. And out of all this she gets to become famous. And if she is still in OF, has now recieved extra publicity.
Her susbscribers would likely multiply after this if she returned to OF. Former model, means it is something she can just pick back up on, now that she is being talked about.
But there is the part that just because she was a former OF model, he may have assumed these acts were acceptable, even though they weren't.
Women who have become sexualized by others, often spend the rest of their lives being sexualized, and people tend to act like, well, just because it is in the past, you should now accept in as your presant, and future too. It is very hard to live down, or get that respect back, once you have been viewed as a sexual object by others.

I agree. It's the first time I ever heard "sexual coercion" being interposed as an actual legal defense to a sexual harassment claim. It's the legal aspect of such a defense that interested me, because I have never heard of such a defense ever being used in such a case. It's new ground.

I would argue that this is not a coercion which assumes some forceful element but a simple sexual advertisement. It is mostly instinctive and applies to both genders. Most women are not conscious gold diggers but subconsciously attracted to rich, powerful and famous. Thus, whereas young men like to advertise their bodies and sportsmanship, men in advance age maintain their sexual appeal with flashy cars, clothing etc. Billionaires remain sexually appealing in a very advanced age (look at the latest Murdoch wedding). The naked power has the highest sexual appeal. It is documented that some women were orgasmic during live Hitler speeches.

Very interesting post. I think " coercion" doesn't really fit here because coercion implies leverage and Kanye, as the payor of a $1 million salary to this woman for her services as his "assistant" (whatever the fuck that actually really means), had ALL the power in this relationship- except sexual power, of course.

Regarding Hitler, I once read that he was very concerned by poisoning attempts on his life (after all, the Russians are the masters of the world in assassination by poisoning, and they wanted Hitler dead from the time the Germans invaded Russia). So Hitler hired tasters of all his food. And they were all females!!! This was possibly because he wanted to spare every able bodied male for the 2-front war effort. But it also also occurred to me that Hitler had some power over the women who volunteered to taste his food, possibly laced with hideous poisons, to "take one for the Nazi team." I imagine these women got to eat some good German food- sauerbraten, Wiener schnitzel, etc. Yet, I always wondered, what were they told? I don't think they knew their true roles and jobs. I believe that they were likely asked by Hitler to taste his food and tell him if it was any good or if it was shit. Of course, if it was in fact "shit", Hitler would know when they keeled over dead.
