Generally, SPs in the US cost more and are nowhere near as good as in Canada, due to the illegality in the US. San Fran is more liberal, but it's still in the US, and vulnerable to nationwide LE trends.

On rare occasions, you get better GFE in the US, and sometimes, you get ripped off, and ripped off badly.

I do not advise hobbying in the US anymore; a few years ago, maybe. The US is really cracking down and using every resource available.

If you get homesick, you can try Canadian Beauties, the only Montreal agency to my knowledge that still delivers to the US. You'll pay US prices but the service is Montreal-like.
