Sidewalk cameras

There's something that I see more and more: these closed circuit cameras installed to watch building porchs, garage doors and sidewalks. Everybody knows Big Brother is watching you everywhere, but does he really have the right to tape you walking down the street or he needs to adjust them to stay on his own grass only?

You have no expectaion of total privacy if you are on the street or any privately owned public place such as a shopping center or a lobby of a building.
