You did the right thing for taking her home. In her helpless state, she could
gotten robbed/raped/killed. How much can you trust your "friendly" cab driver?

You are a true gentleman.

Andrew thanks for the aditional info. Yes it was a mistake and a very bad date but you can be thankful that you're not married to her. Life goes on and there are a lot more adventures in store for you.

I remember years ago reading about a much worse date. The lad picked up a women in a bar and they went to a hotel. She druged his drink and when he awoke in the morning he found himself in the bathtub which was full of ice. There was a note left for him explaining that his kidneys had been harvested and a telephone number to call EMS and to remain chilled until their arrival.

By the ways, another as yet unidentified mistake: your failure to recognize that she did blow when she went in the bathroom and took off the wig. Nobody gets drunk that fast. It was not the liquor making her slur, it was the mix.

No, snorting coke won't emphasize the alcohol, au contraire... that would have sobered her up.

She may have taken some type of downer (or a halcion or even a few xanax) and that combined with the alcohol would explain why she was thrown for a loop.

But you did well... the most important thing was to make sure she got home ok.

andrew770,

You are a really nice guy there. Talk about going above and beyond. Really sucks you had to put up with this kind of nonsense. You were more of a disgruntled boyfriend then some guy who just want some scratch in this case.

Hopefully you learned something out of this. When your gut feeling tells you to walk. You walk. I have been in your shoes once or twice but not so challenging.

Andrew, don't feel too bad. You did the right thing. Imagine you left her on the street and something unspeakable happened to her? I'm sure you wouldn't feel great about it. I think your only mistake was to take this entire endeavour so personally. Keep in mind you were dealing with a SP and you were paying for services. Sure you were pumped and excited but is it really unfathomable that this girl was a bit weird and the night didn't work out as you planned? This isn't a girl from church you finally asked out on a date. It reminds me when members come on the forums and absolutely blast an SP for standing them up and they take it like some kind of mortal wound. You need to keep everything in context.

Things could have been much worse. She could have been a crazy insane drunk, she could have crashed your car, or not even told you where she lived. Ultimately everyone got home safe and the worst thing that happened was you were disappointed and at the very worst, need to change your phone number.

True!

I don't think she took coke/spped or any other "stimulant"...maybe weed though, it would have emphasize the alcohol.
I suppose she could have taken any kind of opiate when she was in the bathroom.

Anyways, I only had one message on my phone from her since a few days so I think this is behind me.

Not ready to laugh yet.
