Hello all. I snipped my nuts while trimming today and have a little cut but its not bleeding. Should I avoid going to see an SP today for health reasons?

i'd say yes, don't see one today since the cut is still fresh. i usually keep my trimming and shaving of my region the day before in case i would cut myself

this is why I recommend the major shaving should be done a few weeks prior and then maybe have a touch up a few days before going on campaign.

Avoid snipped nuts by not using a weed whacker. A sharp razor with a clear gel lubricant is far safer.

I always leave my trimming and shaving in the very capable hands of one of the young ladies I trust very much.
They have a much better angle to do a better and safer job.
Plus, it's way more fun. :eyebrows:

Since we are trading our habits on the matter, I also prefer a razor. Typically I will sit in a tub of water for 10-15 minutes to get my skin nice and loose before starting. At that point I find no gel/cream needed. I will end it with an alum block (yes it stings) to close up the pores and prevent any rash. I have gotten very positive feedback from many SPs, some of whom insist that I must have waxed (which I didn't). I also shave further down on the off chance that the SP will provide rimming. I never ask for it, but I have been very very very pleasantly surprised a few times. Amazing sensation.

Hungry is correct as well, best to cut down the forest well before the campaign and then just do light maintenance afterwords.

You guys are brave with a razor and bare blades... OMG, if nicked, the blood and the sting in such a sensitive spot would traumatize me...

BTW, this is a hilarious and awesome post! Highly informative and functional. But we're trading personal hygiene secrets like the ladies themselves!

i use to use a electric trimmer simlar to the one that you can purchase with difrent heads for ears/nose/sideburns but now i use shaving gel and a mach3 (difrent blade for face than privates). i will reuse the privates blad of my mach3 for privates but use a new mach3 blade at minimum once evry month.

amazingly, i have only cut myself with my mach3 once but with electric trimmer i have hurt myself more then once wich is one of reason i switch to mach3 and shaving gel.

@HG Hunter

The only "girl" coming near my nuts with a blade is one with DR before her name. You're crazy man.

It is best to wait, especially if you are on the paranoid side (I am not saying you are but if...)

Otherwise another sp will have the misfortune I had a few years ago, I met this very anxious man who wrote for weeks before booking asking so many questions about safety etc...I told him that since I am the sp who meet the less he will ever meet I was safe but nothing is safe at 100% in the hobby so if he wanted 100% he should continue not having sex with his wife...

Anyway ,we met it was all covered, fine but as he removed the condom he saw that a tiny cut that he made while shaving was bleeding...mind you I never touched him there without a condom, well he freaked so much that I ended going to get my tests earlier so I could email me a clean bill of health...I always go at l'Actuel and my doc told me that a guy that paranoid should not have sex with anybody but his wife ...

Anyone ever use a hair removal cream or other product for down there? I use electric trimmers presently but it doesn't get the 'round' areas very well.

There was something in the threads about a year ago about this. Maybe someone else can enlighten you as to the product because I can't remember. But whatever it was, it would burn your balls. I would recommend just using a razor and trimming it like you would do a beard. Delicately. Yeah, I've cut myself down there, too...

I have used hair removal creams in the past - far from the magic bullet. I don't know if it is because the hair in the nether regions is a bit tougher/wire-like than normal hair but for me it didn't remove the hair completely it only weakens the hair and you are left with a crop of brittle stubble. If you try it, do not, repeat, DO NOT lose track of the time you have left it on. I did this once and got a bad burn in the area. The burn was similar in discomfort to a bad sunburn but goes away in a couple days. Of course this happened the day before flying to Brazil. An overnight flight with a burn in that area - not fun.

So I guess using my straight razor to get a closer shave down there would be a bad idea

Any chemical cream that is going to essentially dissolve hair at the root isn't going anywhere near 'Benny and the Jets'
