So, nothing about the prison escape?

Not insulting you, my fine friends in Montreal, but it seems that you all are often divorced from events south of your border. I respect that. But there are two convicted murderers who've escaped from a prison less than 60 km from your border, and nothing about in on MERB?

I'm not saying every news story should be on here, but are the people in Montreal aware of this? I'm just curious to hear if this is something you pay attention to or not.

This is really yesterdays news.

And I think this is just a major embarrassment for US law enforcement.

First of all these two make an almost impossible escape, then their get-a-away car isn't there when they make it out of the man hole - and still, two weeks later, none of the law enforcement agencies have a clue where they may be.

Sure, they may be in Montreal or Mexico or anywhere else in the world. Nothing to get exited about.

New York state is offering a 100 000$ reward on them if you provide info that leads to their capture.

Interestingly enough, cnn shows that the have been added to the 15 most wanted list but the reward is only $25 000 for each one.

I wonder what that means - I would have expected the reward money to increase, not decrease.

Faced with the scenario that you cross paths with the escaped convicts, would you call the tip hotline and essentially snitch to get that 100 000$ or would you stand by your principles and let it go as if you never saw them..

Could be tempted to take down myself to be honest... are they worth as much dead as alive? This kinda shit is exactly what would help me in life. Pay the debts, new start, would become a hero too

In all seriousness obviously would i do everything i can to stop them or have police capture them, there murderers, the don't deserve to be free...

In any case yeah it made the news and all, i guess nobody tough about speaking of it here, simple as that.

If the bounty was on Edward Snowden (one of my heros whom nobody says has ever committed a violent crime), your question makes some sense.

My principles don't include protecting convicted murderers. The police are not my enemy and violent criminals are not my friends. To answer your question, I would "snitch" for free, but be even happier to do so if I got paid for it. I can't help wondering if you are putting us on or you are a gangster wannabee.

If you want to extract the sexual aspect of the escape, both of them had sex with the prison worker "friend" before breaking out. They break out and no one knows where they are at the moment. She ends up in prison really getting screwed.

Hello all,

Prison escapee Richard Matt shot dead by police. The report says the dead escapee was shot at or near Malone, NY which is at the junction of routes 11, 30, 37 about 10 miles below the Canadian border, maybe 30 to 35 miles south of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. They're surmising the surviving escapee will try for Canada. Dieu bénisse la fleuve Saint Laurent.
