VIP 10 wasabruptly cancelled and the thread looks to have been removed completely. What happened?
So what is with VIP?

I wish I knew. I messaged lgna but he never replied. I went the VIP last July and it was great even for an anti social douche like myself. I really hoped to attend another.
From what i've heard, he's found LOVE & no longer has time to organize parties or even visit his favorite city. Love often hits you when you least expect it and from what i've been told it wouldn't be entirely surprising if we don't hear wedding bells within the next year or so. :love::love::love:
Lol, this true? In any case, we had a really good run and were very fortunate as hobbyists to have somebody like lggy throwing these types of parties (VIP, Massage, GG, etc). Lord only knows how much time and effort he put into organizing these events.
Anyways, whatever he's up to, hope he's doing well. If it really is love then good for him, as he definitely deserves to be happy.

Organizing any event is a huge endeavor, as I recently tried to do. Hats off to Igna and glad he found love. (Organization events a besoins long temps. Je suis contente que il, Igna, a recherche amour. C'est correcte?)

I agree. It was a win-win for all who attended. Now maybe it's time for someone else to take the mantle & organize their own GT. There's no better time to have one than during the summer.
GT's have been around since at least 2003. They've been organized by many different people....agencies, johns, etc. I had great times at the VIP's, but i also had great times at previous GT's which used to be held at Hotel de la Montagne or at various 'industry' dinners held at various restaurants.
Successful GT's are not exactly easy to organize but it's not space science either. Whoever organizes a successful GT needs to put time & effort in the venture and come up with good, original and different ideas. Cooperation from agencies/indys has always been key. But what's even more important is to get a great, accessible venue. I'd also recommend to have not more than 4 GT's per year, maybe even less. If not people will get tired of them & it'll get harder to get the agencies/indys to come if they're too frequent. Just my two cents for anyone interested.
Someone or an agency should do a Halloween GT, the one MTLGFE did was entertaining. ( Halloween for me is better than Christmas ).
