Some questions from a first-timer

Hi merb. I consider myself lucky to have stumbled across this place when I did. I'm going to be spending 5 nights in Montreal next month due to work, and I'd like to see an SP for the first time. I learned a lot just from browsing through some of the threads here, but I did have some other questions I was hoping you all could answer.

1. What items should I have on hand for Outcalls? Aside from the money, I can think of clean towels, toiletries and a sealed beverage (e.g., water). Should I have my own condoms as well?

1. Girls from good agencies will bring condoms 95-99% of the time. But occasionally a girl will forget them or run out. So why take a chance? Always have your own ready. Also, you may have a preferred brand/type of condom. Most girls will let you use your own. I would also recommend having your own favorite lube ready. Girls are more likely to forget or run out of lube than condoms. Best to have your own on hand.

2. Yes, it's standard. Most girls will have no problem providing a covered BJ. If you're worried about the taste of latex, then buy some non-latex condoms.

3. Morning is fine. I would call rather than text. Do your research before you call. Check reviews, photos, descriptions, hours of availability. You won't always get your first choice, so select a few girls as possibilities. If you don't get your first choice then be ready with a 2nd and 3rd choice. But if you call between 10AM and 12noon, you stand a good chance of getting one of your top 3 choices. Also, don't overlook some lower profile agencies such as Montreal Sex City, Wildtime, XXXtase, etc. They have good girls too.

4. Not much point in contacting agencies ahead of time, even though some agencies do post schedules in advance. But you never know for sure who is working until the actual day of availability.

Other advice: always have a backup plan. Don't just go for the hottest girls with the most current good reviews. There are lots of great girls with lower profiles. Keep in mind that personality and service are as important or more important than pure looks. Consider booking a 2 hour appointment--it's more relaxed and enjoyable for both you and the girl.

Thanks for the insight - and especially for pointing out those other agencies. I'll be sure to check them out as well. My biggest concern was that the more popular girls would be fully booked in the few hours after the schedules are posted, but it looks like that isn't (usually) the case.

To answer your questions

1. We usually bring our own condoms. A towel would be nice, I personally like to shower after, I don't know about the other girls.
2.I am okay with both. Condoms or without (oral only)
3. Cannot help you with this one as I do not work with an agency
4. It's always good to contact the agency or indy before to be sure you know exactly what to expect.

Just a couple of points to add to the advice you have been given. Be prepared for cancellations. So even if you have booked a girl in the morning, she could still cancel before your scheduled meeting time. My last visit to Montreal, I had two cancellations the same day. You may still need your backup plan after you booked the appointment.

As far as booking a girl in the morning of your meeting day, the success rate can vary depending on how busy the agency is and how long the girl's shift is. A girl with an 8 hour shift may be easier to book than a girl with a 4 hour shift. Again on my last trip to Montreal, I called an agency exactly when they opened in the morning and my first choice was booked solid already for her 8 hour shift. (Makes me think that favored local clients probably get advanced notice of a girl's availability.Lol.) But again - have a plan b and plan c. With a solid back up plan, you should meet someone you like.

I have never once had to use my own condoms. Girls will bring them. If you are staying at at hotel, you will have toiletries and towels. If you are staying at an AirBnB make sure you put out whatever she might need for her to shower when you are done with your session. It is not necessary to provide anything else, but if you do, it will be greatly appreciated. I offer wine and cheese\crackers. Another idea would be chocolates or candies. When you book a girl, you can ask the booker what she likes to drink and they will tell you. If you have that ready for her when she shows up, your session will start with a very happy girl. Sessions that start with happy girls almost always end with happy guys.

Personally, I text the agencies late at night for the next day's lineup. I am up anyway and I want to have the best selection. I am awake anyway, so I want to lock up my schedule for the next day before bed. That being said, texting in the morning should still leave you with plenty of options.

You really do need to be flexible. Schedules change, girls get booked up fast. It makes sense to stick to the three major agencies if its your first trip and you are only here for 5 days, however, you really should look at some of the MERB indies. Many of these are former agency girls who have really honed their skills. Read those reviews and consider them.

The final piece of advice I would give is don't stress about making the perfect choice. The truth is Montreal is escort paradise. Odds are pretty good that your worst booking will be better than any booking you had in the USA. The best one will make you want to plan your next trip before you even leave. Not every session will be perfect, but it will be a great trip.

1. Bring condoms just in case, some girls forget and have to go ask drivers for some condoms or run to nearby store you dont want that it kills the mood and waste time... if she has a booking right after she might be stressed for that

3. XO, velvet, godiva posts the weekly schedule n you can book right away, other place you need to wait until the post after midnight but in my experience the most organized and reliable for prebooking is XO
4. You can contact them anytime to ask questions n you can see by the way they answer your questions even if youre not booking for that day how helpful they are

I have never had to worry about condoms in Canada.

If doing outcall, do have a bottle of red wine or something like this and wine glasses. I remember my first two appointments in a row back in 2007 when I first joined MERB that both girls walked in and said "let's order a bottle of wine." I was like are you kidding? In the states it was always a Mexican standoff with the girl asking for your plane ticket and ID so you could prove you are not LE and everything was so guarded up to then. Montreal was a breath for fresh air. One girl complained about using the hotel plastic cups so make sure you have nice glasses. You can borrow them from the lounge.

Do pour her a glass of wine or her favorite beverage and take a few minutes to break the ice. This is my favorite time of the date.

Do have a bluetooth speaker and a playlist of tunes available for your appointment. You can tell elapsed time by the song that you are on.

Do stop and stock your room with whatever personal hygiene products that you need or forgot such as mouthwash and nail clippers etc. The more hygienic you are the better service you will get. Also, buy a case of waters and whatever snacks you will need. The girls like fine chocolates.

If you do incall Do take a shower as soon as you enter no matter how little time has elapsed prior to your last shower. I found myself in Toronto saying but I just showered... and Giselle pointed to the shower so I did it.

I used to request stockings and heels but I am usually disappointed so I sometimes sop and buy them for the girls and then let them take them with them.

This is not like a Clinica/Terma/FKK etc. so don't be careful with shopped photos. Do not book solely on photos. Also, I've opened the door and thought Mehh? Unless there is some unscrupulous false advertising, I would say be open to making the best out of it. I've had some excellent sessions with girls that I opened the door to and I was slightly disappointed with.

Few questions from a newbie

1. How accepting are the girls in Montreal to younger guys? I’m not gonna reveal my age but let’s just say I’m ‘college’ age, will this be an issue with any girls? (Ik you might say I’m too young to be pursuing this hobby but I got out of a long relationship recently and I’m just not down yet to play the pick up game right now at clubs and bars. Need some guaranteed, low stress, drama free action.)

2. How does tipping work? Like say if an agency says they charge 200 for services for an hour, are you expected to tip more money to the girl after the session? like how you would pay for a meal at a restaurant and then tip the waitress 15 percent, is it the same kind of thing? 3. How to tell if an Indy worker is legit? What are some giveaways that they might rob you or scam you or whatever? How prevalent is this in the escort world?

4. Is law enforcement a real concern?


5. What are the current standard rates for both escorts and massage parlours?

Really appreciate anyone who takes the time to answer these question, this is an awesome community, never would have thought something like this existed, you guys are super cool. The most important thing is to learn to use the search function on MERB.

1. Age - I don't know. I have noticed that many indies seem to have minimum age or at least discourage customers below a minimum age. I haven't seen the same age requirements on agency web sites. I would call an agency.

2. Tips - Just pay their rate. You can give them an extra 20$ if you are very pleased. I have never tipped more than 40$ but I rarely tip anyway. Mostly, just pay the rate and don't try to barter. I think this may be the problem associated with younger guys.

3. Hire Indies that advertise on MERB. If someone does screw you over you have recourse. You can write a review. Find the indy you like and read their reviews and you know that they are legit. I personally have had a dismal record with Indies showing up but if they do show up they have all been spectacular.

4. No. Stay off the streets. That is don't go after streetwalkers. There is no concern with incall or outcall for the MERB providers.

5. Pay 200$-240$/hour for agency girls. Know the going rate and do not try to save money by using Leolist or other BP like equivalents.

I will wait for your reviews. Don't write anything personal about the girl in your review that could help to identify her or put her at odds with her agency. I just read a review from a newbie on TERB that said something like the girl was considering taking private phone numbers so that she could go indy. Her agency is going to read this and she is going to get in trouble!!!!

LOL Yes, but that is when I started. I moved up the ladder a bit and the higher end escorts that I booked after reading TER reviews (I loved this site) had a different attitude. They could relax a bit more and maybe enjoy a bottle of wine. But it is not like Montreal and the laid back attitude the girls have.

1. In general, the girls do prefer older men because they tend to be nicer and treat the girls with respect. Younger guys can sometimes act like assholes. You wont be refused by any agency because of your age. It is possible that an indy might refuse you. However, whomever you book, be gracious and respectful you will quickly be known by the bookers as a good client.

2. Tipping is not required for agency girls or indys. If you receive service that really feels above and beyond and you want to add another 20 or 40 to her fee, it will be appreciated, but never expected.

3. If you book indys that advertise on MERB and have good reviews, you will not have to worry about this.

4. LE is not a concern at all. Zero concern.

5. Just go to the agency websites. Rates are always posted.

Use the agency websites and indy ads to find the girls that really fit what your want physically, then read MERB reviews to weed out any uncertainty. Then enjoy yourself.

which means one has to be ready to stay up until 3:00 am and even later. until recently they were able to post around 2:00 am, but the posting time trends later recently. not ideal if one wants first dibs on a girl who starts at 11:00 am
