Something absolutely mind-blowing happened to me, and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it.

I'm really into sports betting as a hobby, especially parlays, and I follow live scores pretty closely. But what happened recently has honestly left me speechless and even made me question whether some things in sports are rigged.

Here's the situation:
I was watching a live NHL game on bet365 between Detroit and Chicago, and I placed a live bet on the total goals going over 4.5.

For those who follow live sports, I'm sure you're familiar with Bet365's live scores is the number 1 live score. I also use an app called Sofascore, which sends notifications whenever a goal is scored and the name of the player.

Here's where things get really strange. Sofascore suddenly sent me a notification saying that a specific player had scored a goal 4-1. However, when I checked Bet365, there was no goal showing. The score was still 3-1. The strange part is that Sofascore's notification disappeared almost immediately afterward, as if it had been deleted or retracted.I thought it was probably just a glitch, so I checked other live-score websites, and they were all showing the exact same score: 3-1.Then, approximately five minutes later, the exact same player mentioned in that original Sofascore notification scored a goal, making the score 4-1!

Let that sink in for a second.
How could an app send me a notification identifying the exact player who would score a goal five minutes before it actually happened?

I'm genuinely confused and have no explanation for what I witnessed. I'd really like to hear your thoughts, especially from anyone familiar with live sports scores.Because honestly, this was one of the strangest things I've ever experienced while sports betting.

I can see two possibilities - an error by Sofascore (Are updates performed by humans?) or a disallowed goal. In both cases, it is simply coincidence that the supposed initial goal scorer actually scored a (good) goal later.

Hey buddy, There’s no way this is just a coincidence. Seriously, what are the odds of something like this happening? You’d probably have a better chance of winning the 6/49 lottery than something like this to happened.
