These threads have been started in the past usually by guys who simply don’t have the money to indulge and they feel the financial pressure. Instead of looking in the mirror they blame the market. A degree of accountability is restored by simply telling posters if you don’t like paying $20 more, then increase your pay by $20 or get another job so that the increase isn’t an issue. It’s really not a rational or economically logical thread.

The hotels have gotten out of hand, actually priceline itself has turned to shit, you should see the prices they want in montreal in fucking FEBRUARY!!!!! Back then u could use the mystery hotel thing and get a decent hotel, the delta on kennedy was one i got, now its always botique hotels and ive heard some1 got a hostel/hotel, if u look they have hostels listed as 3 and a half and even as a 4 star!!! Wtf is going on with them?
Many good points here are being made on both sides of the fence. We in NYC/NNJ are amused because many of you don't realize how good you have it up in Montreal. I understand it's a different market so a $20 increase might make some guys feel the pinch than other places, or it's a sort of sticker shock versus what you might have paid 4 or 5 years ago. I treat myself well when I'm up there (hell, I spent $240/hr at Euphoria and thought it was a great deal) but I refuse to spend more than $320 here in NY and NNJ. And I do great at Desiresofnewyork.com and mybeautifulvixens.com. If they raised their rates to say $350 I might start looking elsewhere. But as a capitalist I respect Julie's and every agency's right and duty to maximize profits. I'd be disappointed if they didn't. Get what you can get while you're escorting. You're not a charity. But as Sam said it's human nature to complain about pricing, and girls aren't giving away anything. It's a transactional business, and if no one pushed back verbally or by not booking then the sky is the limit on pricing.

I used Hotel Tonight once in a pinch and got the Tuscany Hotel in NYC for $185. It’s a very nice boutique hotel, but I typically find better deals in the Financial District on Friday and Saturday nights as those hotels that rely on business travelers can be had cheaply on the weekends.
I only have one that still is at 160 but she is one of few I do not review here as she would get crushed haha. Schedule and timing for her is all relative to her own world.

I am not offended by girls charging less than the market rate and I am certainly not happy when rates go up, but as julia sky phrased it, I am not phased by it because I expect it to happen to all good and services in life. If prices stayed the same for 20 years, it would be called a depression. If prices of one product or service stayed the same for 20 years while everything else on the economy grew, it would mean that that product or service was actually cheaper and therefore these girls are making less in real income.
You live in a city with the biggest supply of stunning young women providing mind-blowing service at a cost lower than any other north American city and you complain when prices go up at the same rate as inflation over the last two decades. And that's not even taking into account the relative ease and safety that exists in montreal. That's like living in Hawaii and complaining about the 5 minute rain showers.
I wish all the girls still charged 160 like they did 13 years ago. That would be awesome. But that will not happen and it doesn't make montreal any less of a hobbyist paradise. And sometime over the next 3 to 5 years average prices will go up another $20. They should. Every single solitary thing in these girls lives gets 3% more expensive every year.
I don't expect anyone to be happy when the price of anything increases at the rate of inflation - regardless of whether you are on a fixed income or not - but it is downright silly to be surprised when it happens and it is borderline offensive to label it as greed. If you can show me one girl who has the same cost of living as a girl had 10 years ago, then I will agree that it is greed.
