Hello, I am curious because that never happened to me. I text a SP a month ago but I could’t see her finally so it ended there.

She texted me yesterday asking if I can come see her. I could not but let the door open for another time.

Texted me again one hour ago asking if I can come today…

Is it a red flag? Maybe she doesn’t have enough client? Poor service? I wonder what is your advice in that case? Thanks !

A couple of regulars contact me from time to time. If we haven’t seen each other in a while, they might reach out to ask how it’s going, and let me know if/when they’re free. But no pressure, they’re just reaching out.

But as mentioned previously, unsolicited is not acceptable. And as long as there is no pressure and it’s not very frequently, it’s all good.

But if it’s someone you’ve never seen before, it could be a scam.

and this is why you don't pay deposits. There is never a client benefit to paying them and at some point someone will screw you out of yours. I've never met a monger with any experience who didn't get screwed out of their deposit at least once, myself included. It's a no-win game.

Yeah I will NEVER pay another deposit, whether the amount means a damn thing to me or not.

Occam's Razor. She needs to pay rent/bills. Most likely answer.

Is it a red flag? That depends. Does this SP have good reviews? If she has then your risk is reduced. I presume you did your due diligence before booking her.

I never saw her. She has no review on MERB. Thanks to you all, there’s a lot of others safest choice out there.

SPs should ask and confirm with the client is he is cool about it before contacting, you don't want to mess up his relation with a wife or significant other

Yeah, I agree, it should come with a clear agreement about future contact. I do like it when providers message out of the blue sometimes, but only bc we've got an understanding that if they're touring nearby they should reach out and let me know, so I actually appreciate it when they do.
