I remember the days of the lower main. That old Harvey's on the corner of St. Laurent was so happening with action late at night.

Numerous taverns and bars catered to working women and their clientele in the area as well.

You are likely not the only one, but you're likely part of a small club. In this day and age, I would respectfully suggest to redirect your interest to condo action, and to avoid classified ads websites (Leolist style). If by any bad chance you are still interested in "street action" in 2026 you are almost certain to encounter people with severe substance abuse problems. Does that sound attractive?

The 80’s were the best times in regard of street action.

Many good talent out there, especially near the end of the month.

A lot of students, housewives needing a plus to pay for their extras, …

Then the junkies …

If you want to have an in depth report about the street scene, I suggest that you contact Oliver akas C Brown etc.

To this day, he’s the most knowledgeable person in Montreal about the street scene as well as the massage industry.

Many douchebags didn’t like him but the guy knew his stuff. First hand experience… lol

I hope he’s doing well and to read him again.

Couldn’t be happier that it has disappeared.
Even then it was mostly drug addicts and bottom of the barrel pimp run hookers that we’re on the streets.

There were many much better looking ladies that you could call to an incall location or brothel. All you had to do was give a good tip to any bartender in the downtown St. Laurent area and he would even arrange it for you.

I had a bartender friend who knew every joint in town.
It was fun however to take a walk down St Laurent and St Catherine and watch all the street hookers in action trying to hook clients.
Sometimes we would make bets on which guy would be snagged by one of them.

Yeah Oliver was and still is an authority on the street scene and MP places and strangely enough good affordable restaurants.
Miss his posts and deciphering his grammar and spelling.
He was one of the most knowledgeable and colourful guys on this board.
Sadly most of his handles didn’t last more than a month as Oliver never took shit from anybody.
