36% percent is an interesting number, I would guess in another 5 years or so if the trend keeps up we may actually become the majority!

OK come clean now, anyone have any embarassing tatoo stories??? There must be some...

I have quite a few although only 1 is really visible to most people (on the inside of my forearm) unless I'm wearing shorts. None that I regret really, but a rather large one down most of my lower leg which prevents me from playing golf in shorts even when it's 35 degrees out is a bit of a pain.

I have no tattoos. I believe art should be painted on a canvas, not on my body. My body is not an easel. Furthermore I have no need to make statements about my personality with tattoos, which seems to be the common theme for getting them. Those who need to make statements by placing graffiti on their body, send a message to me that this is their best or easiest way to communicate, rather than let their personality speak for itself.

Many younger people laughably tattoo a BF's or GF's name, and then when the relationship end seek its removal.

I agree with you Beav. I don't even like belly button piercings. In SCs I have seen far too many "home-made" looking tattoos. The ultimate ugliness to me is a nose ring; I have seen a girl go from beautiful to ugly with the swing of a hideable nose ring.

Perhaps the only type of tattoo I find acceptable is of the kind Maylee has.

I agree completely and carry it over to dancers and women in general. I also like to limit ear piercings to a maximum of two per ear. Tattoos used to be a sign of rebellion, now they are becoming signs of conformity as everyone seems to be getting them. I have only met one lady in my life where I thought her tattoos were sexy. She had her lower back and her pubic area tattooed and they would not have been visible except when wearing the smallest of string bikinis, and then only the one on her back.
Hmmm...thinking about her gives me the urge to go to Wanda's and see her.
Maybe she'll come out of retirement for GP week.

Nothing obscene or extreme. Just a triangular abstract pattern if I remember correctly. She doesn't dance anymore so I haven't seen it in a while. But I still have hope to get a much closer look in the near future.
