It is absolutely amazing to me how some who bemoan about the new proposed prostitution law, and know nothing about Ted Cruz, can have an opinion about him. Cruz is a strong Federalist (which means limited Federal government laws and involvement).

Blame it on the lame stream media for the mass ignorance of politics and the intolerance of different views.

By your definition ... Pauline Marois is also a strong federalist !!

One presidential mandate by the tea party and the Americans will burn crosses and holy books ! I still don't understand why the tea baggers want so much too look inside of American bedroom !! And cut all the others liberties like abortion and gay rights ... But for gun's the more the happier .... ( a minimum of gun control please )

Hypocrites unite,

^BS^. Cruz waited 39 years after coming to the U.S. to renounce his Canadian citizenship? He's doing it now only because it's the recent publication of his status with dual citizenship, specifically being born outside the U.S. has become huge embarrassment to his political ambition and that grossly obstructionist party that supports him. By the standards the Tea Party set Cruz is completely ineligible to run for President, but the Tea Partiers like DD41 and the ilk will fall all over themselves to kiss Cruz' ass and turn around everything they said about Obama being ineligible despite a verified birth certificate for Hawaii only because Cruz is a Tea Party lackey who thinks like them.

Listen to the silence of the SHEEP as DD and the Tea Party boys go silent on the ineligibility by their standards of Cruz as a foreign born candidate, which was a cause celebre for disqualifying Obama.

I think it's a disgrace that Cruz is dumping Canadian citizenship only because of the politics of an extremely narrow-minded party sect.

He's an opportunist and did it as such.

So, who cares?

He's mostly an obstructionist, but you're correct: who cares?

He doesn't stand a chance of ever being elected President anyway. He also doesn't stand a chance of ever getting elected by his own party since most of his GOP political colleagues can't stand his face. He's nothing but a Joseph P. McCarthy wannabe.
