I was seeing everyone on the social media talking about the long weekend. I was still wondering what long weekend are you talking about?

today i'm bitching about my fucking chronic illnesses.
i feel so unreliable because of that. i'm mostly an ''appointment only'' SP and i feel like i let down my clients and myself when i need to cancel on the same day because of a flare up

Thankfully my flare ups are more spaced out than they used to be. But I'm afraid of cancelling when this happens because I'm scared of getting bad reviews..
Thank God I found a Dr who finally takes me seriously tho

took a while for mine to stop blaming everything on anxietyi'm also afraid of canceling because of that and we know how some people can be really mean when reviewing here..
I’m fuckin tired of seeing indys, agencies and spas using ai for everything. Why are we using ai to generate pictures!!???? The worst part is that it seems like clients, including on boards, don’t seem to realize the people they’re booking are fabricating pictures of themselves.
I can't speak for others, but I would never review someone badly if they cancelled due to medical issues.
You have to be quite a jerk to do that.
Yeah but some people think you're making up an excuse. It's just the way things are. I don't think anybody likes to talk about their medical problems..
I honestly didn't realize that people used AI until you pointed it out to me... Now I can't unsee it lol

This is so problematic, I agree! On several levels!
It's across-the-board now, everyone is using it for the stupidest reasons, and it sucks so bad. Buy art from artists, photos from photographers, and written works for ads/businesses from copywriters.
Yeah... I had mixed feelings about this at first. I don't really look at other people's ads very often.. but I recently did notice that weird use of AI. It does pose an ethical problem.

I don’t mind seeing you like this. Yes it is a bit over the top but it doesn’t takeaway your beautiful features. Grab my hand and take me to paradise. Lol
The worries is that people use it too much and eventually doesn’t represent the person at all anymore.
Recently in the news, they showed people using AI to embellish their house for sale and turned out it doesn’t look at the same house anymore. That can be a total turn off and a deal breaker. Au naturel is always best.

Some of the photos I've seen featured providers in completely fictional settings.. I tend to browse this stuff pretty fast and AI is getting pretty realistic so it didn't catch my eye until someone pointed it out to me.
We all have professional photos that are flattering but AI generated images are something else entirely. I think it's much better to encourager professional photographers.
Right now I feel like everyone is letting it slide because the providers doing it, agencies, indys or spas, are « cheap ». That’s what it comes down to. It always start like that and it becomes a rampant issue.
It was the same a few years ago with retouching pictures and now it has become a non issue in every parlor and agency…even indys, most of their waists are retouched to be two inches. It’s so depressing. Like 85% of these girls don’t even ressemble their pictures or maybe I’m too observant…I don’t know man.
I had to turn down a parlor a few months ago because the owner was adamant that we should remove my tattoos from my pictures so that the spa could bait and switch clients into booking me like noooooo what the hell
