I think there are 2 reason, in the back of my mind, why I like to go down on SPs.
1- my "kink" is turning on women: I get pleasure from pleasing my partner. just as I enjoy when she gives me directions, or shares a kink or turn on.

I think people are not taught about consent and they do things like this without realizing the other person may not like it or may actually get upset.

Are you sure they're "faking it" to kill time or because they want to provide a good service? Like OP said a lot of clients really insist on DATY and it's a deal breaker if they can't do it.
