I doubt Johnny would ever sell the club. He knows he has got the best location right now and is making $$$. Not sure what the developer can offer Johnny to move because if I were him I would not move. The developer cannot force Johnny out. Even if he did relocate there are not a whole lot of other places to go especially considering the decline of the stripclub industry. This run down seedy club fits the area.

Johnny doesnt want to sell and hopefully they wont find a way to evict

him. Cleos is certainly not something they want to keep in the area, it will

clash will everything else they have planned.

If the city decides to expropriate the land there is nothing that Johnny can do about it. Once the developer buys the rest of the block it won't be long before the city forces him out at a 'fair price' so that developement can begin.

Personally I think it's a shame to turn yet another part of the city into a haven of overpriced goods and restaurants with no character. If it goes their way, I imagine it will only be a matter of time before they move to St. Catherine street and start looking for ways to remove Foufounes which will certainly not fit with their new idea of an arts and entertainment district.

I'm not a big fan of implants and they tend to be more prevalant at the 'high end' clubs...

Haven't been to Wanda's in ages though so that sounds like a good idea to me!

The city will eventually buy Johnny out, Main import grocey inc, montreal

pool room,etc. they're just not in a hurry yet.

Hope Johnny will move Cleo's to another location and not close it down for

Johnny may have to hold-out fr a zoning variance that would allow him to move as part of the deal.
