I think everyone should buy Doc a beer for this one. He got it right. Poor Baltimore. From nearly beating the Patriots to getting beat by the winless Dolphins.

CONGRATS Doc!!!

Did I call it or what?? I thought the Fish would let me down in OT, but Baltimore's kicker blew the FG attempt. Cleo Lemon is a very good QB & the Fish would have won more games if he would have played more. Can't wait to cash in my winnings tomorrow!!! A trip to Mtl for the upcoming holidays might just be in the works! :D :D

Is it fair to say that Joe T. & I look like f$^# geniuses today?? I called the Dolphins' win, he called the Eagles' win.

Congrats Joe T.....you finally got a prediction right! :D

Supposing you are starting a brand new NFL team and the first thing you had to do (before picking anyone else or knowing who would be available) you hand to pick either Randy Moss or Terrell Owens... which one would you pick?

Tough one. By i have to go with T.O. Hate him or love him, Owens always comes to play & always puts in 100% game in & game out. He also plays injured & has come back from serious injury sooner in order to play & help out his team. We've all seen what kind of effort Moss puts in when he's not playing next to a very good QB and/or very good team. He stunk the joint when he played in Oakland & it almost looked like he had thrown in the towel & might never be the same player again. Tom Brady & the NE Patriots saved his career! As for T.O., he would look good on any team & would help any team in the NFL.

Hello all,

New England at New York Giants ( Giants saving players and Patriots playing for History )

Seattle at Atlanta ( Falcons are a mess )

New Orleans at Chicago
( Bears quarterback fighting for a place )

San Francisco at Cleveland ( Browns have something to fight for, the 48ers don't )

Detroit at Green Bay
( Packers looking for momentum, Lions looking confused )

Jacksonville at Houston ( Too many worn out Texan rookies longing for the off-season )

Cincinnati at Miami ( Bengals have coaching worries for next year and the Dolphins are looking to impress Parcells )

Buffalo at Philadelphia ( Bills have poor stats but a record for toughness )

Carolina at Tampa Bay ( Tough one: Bucs resting players makes it a close call )

St louis at Arizona ( Kurt Warner gets more receivers to throw to )

Pittsburgh at Baltimore
( Many injured Ravens against the Steelers looking to be seeded higher )

Minnesota at Denver
( The Vikings need it bad, the Broncos are no where )

Kansas City at New York Jets ( Does anyone want this game more than a better draft pick; maybe Damon Huard )

San Diego at Oakland ( Chargers need the No 3 seed )

Dallas at Washington ( Dallas just doesn't need this game; the Redskins do. But is Washington just too inept. )

Tennessee at Indianapolis ( Just don't see the Colts giving this away at home, resting players or not )

Hey Joe.t...do you know the legend of Sisyphus? Well, so goes your wishful thinking against the Patriots...LOL!
So you did not pick on New Orleans at Chicago huh?

Cheerio and...HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Colts versus Chargers

Hello all,

Did you see that one-handed interception by Eric Weddle as he was being driven back with a Colts lineman right in his chest. Geeeeez, that damn tipped ball either had eyes or Weddle is the luckiest defenseman in football. Hell of a freaking play. Too bad the Chargers could not get any kind of a drive out of it.

Go Chargers,

Bye bye.

Hello all,

New York Giants 21 Cowboys 17

Sorry Tex...it looks like it will be a little tough for the Cowboys to win the Super Bowl this year. Frankly, I don't like either of these teams, but "America's Team"...lol... really is the pits for me.

Couple of real surprises today....

You have to hand it to NY.... despite their problems they won.... I think Romo is likely a decent guy .... but did you see how frustrated he got during the game... near the end?

Hello Dee,

I really don't wach the Cowboys much, so I don't have the best insight into how Romo is as a player. He's exciting, no doubt. But he made some serious mistakes that he shouldn't have. Though he is still young he has been in playoff games enough to have some good experience. So I can't understand why nearly every throw in the last 4:30, especially in Giants territory, was a shot to win the game. He should have been trying to general his team to the goal line by taking yardage in pieces instead of trying to have it all at once when he certainly had the time. Big Mistake! Now Romo and Peyton Manning can watch on their big screens together.

Who gets the remote???

And what about SD QB Rivers? What an attitude.... I hope the Pats defence eats him alive.

Oh, he's just a kid who got overly excited & was enjoying the moment. That's all. He probably got heckled by those same Colts fans all game long. Cut the kid some slack.

Well, it looks like it'll be Green Bay & New England in the Superbowl. I'm cheering for the Packers, but i can't see New England losing the game.

Hello Doc...and Ziggyman,

I did see many fans heckling Rivers when he got hurt. So if he gave something back then good for him.

I am taking this one game at a time...yes, cliche I know. But I just want to be realistic. Stuff happens. I don't think it will. The Chargers are quite beat up, and even healthy they would be fighting all up hill against a superb team. Remember that the Patriots won against the Jaguars with a perfectly balanced running and passing attack. If they can pass and run too, they will be tougher than ever.

Patriots FOREVER,

Korbel
