Was looking for this thread and it appears to no longer be here. Did the Mods or author delete it? People put a lot of thought and incite into that thread.

Really? I wonder why Doc would take his ball and go home?
Would it be possible to replace it minus his posts if he doesn't want to participate? I know it would probably be a pain to accomodate that request but as I said previously a lot of people put a lot of effort into posting in that thread.

The Official MERB Hockey Thread
The reason i deleted it this morning was because it no longer served its intended purpose, which was to be an alternative to the other hockey thread & be one with a more serious tone. It had become nothing but a Leafs/Habs bashing thread, almost identical to the other one. I tried in the past to get members to post in the other one if they wanted to flame one another & trash talk, and thus leaving my thread for serious hockey discussion, but it fell on deaf ears.
So i figured....why have two nearly identical threads in the same section?
I've since asked the moderators if it was possible to put it back in, intact. I must admit that i was rather surprised at how many people expressed their discontent about the deletion.

Okay, I actually thought your thread did a decent job of not being as brutal as the other thread.

If I see any flame posts or insult posts or joke photo posts in the proper hockey thread they will be moved to the hockey flame thread and the poster will be warned. Do it after a warning has been issued and a suspension will follow.
