FYI, after the nominations close, Merlot will narrow the field, including only those agencies that received the greatest number of votes. He'll then start a new thread for the final voting.

Yup, he's the one who has put in the effort. He makes the rules, as he has in years past. We all owe Merlot some thanks. Having conducted the other poll a couple of times myself, I assure you there are several hours involved in the process, not including the time he spends dealing with whiners about the way he's going about it. What follows immediately hereafter is an example of the work involved.

You're right I was being confused, for some reason I saw people mentionning votes and confused it with nominations. I understand now we are just in the nomination process and the final vote will happen with a poll.

Correct. Like the other poll, this one will narrow the field. I'm not exactly sure how Merlot plans to tabulate the final, but I'm sure he'll fill us in when the time comes.
