Who is going to THE POLICE concert at the Bell Centre tomorrow (Wed) or the next day (Thurs)?

It should be an amazing show!!!

Most of the concert reviews i've read of their show were disappointing. I remember a month or so ago that even their drummer criticized it. I saw them at the Live Earth concert & was disappointed, so i decided not to attend the concert.

I hope i was wrong & that you enjoy a great concert, though. Let us know how it went.

Last night`s show was reviewed in today`s Montreal Gazette edition:

I have a feeling that the reviewer was left somewhat disappointed with the show, except for Stewart Copeland`s performance on drums & percussion. Seems Sting`s voice isn`t as good as it once was & they intentionally wanted it to burry Andy Summers`guitar licks. Maybe this reviewer is a die-hard Police fan, who knows. Or maybe he or she forgot that those 3 guys are in their 50`s and 60`s. I might go and see them in November...they played in Toronto last week & are already booked to return in the fall. By the way, my all-time favorite `Police`song is none other than the truly great `Every Breath You Take`. I still have great memories of that song while slow dancing with the babes back in my university days.

The best thing about "Every Breath You Take" was the way a lot of simpletons thought it was a touching love song when in fact it concerned stalking and obsession. Sting may be old and pompous nowadays but a couple of decades ago he had a talent for bitter and twisted lyrics. Too bad the only thing that he passed on to his son Little Joe was ruthless ambition (well, maybe also a massive ego).

Third Show Announced for Montreal

After two sold-out shows in July, The Police will be returning to Montreal again.

A 3rd show has been announced for Monday, November 12, 2007 at the Bell Centre.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, August 11.
