well even if the law passes im pretty sure it will not be enforced in Montreal.
Our mayor is pro business and montreal needs all the business it can get right now. So im pretty sure they will leave the MP and agencies alone.
The sex trade bring a lot of money and tourism to montreal. The police and the politicians know this they are not stupid. So they won't mess with a good thing.
As long as everything is on the up and up.
So im pretty sure as long as i stay low key and dont hire any minors the cops will leave me alone.

I feel like this is an area in which people think they can make easy money. Not the case.
Having opened my own business I can tell you honestly that opening a business is pure hell for a very long time.
Just because sex sells at a high rate doesn't mean you don't face the same pitfalls as other businesses. Yes, the returns seem wonderful and immediate but rest assured that they are not easily attained. But... ya never know

Do you have any idea what your initial build out cost is going to be to construct a space for a decent mp? We're talking about separate rooms with showers. Too many rooms and wasted cost & space. Too few and you're no making enough.

Right now owning any business in Quebec is a challenge !!! And theres no sign of things turning around any time soon.

This is a reason not to open a business.
I had a business in the early 90's, was not prepared for it, lease costs ( $5,000 per/month plus mall extras for excess snow removal etc.), employees stealing ( constant ), accounting costs ( minimal $1,600 a year ), fucked up customers ( enough of them, plus my low tolerance to fucktards was not a good match. ). Ended up selling after 4 years of very long days ( 16 hr ).
Best of luck in what you do but check things out properly.
The medical pot business is taking a up swing recently, many applications coming in and long process but if you get accepted huge payouts.

But maybe i need to offer a different product to set myself apart from the competition. It can be a place where people can come smoke their pot, have a drink, chill out, socialize, and go in the back for a massage...this plan is starting to sound good
