Don’t think it’s any particular event, hotels rates are just much higher these days Maybe the tourist hordes from China have finally discovered Montreal
In fact, this is probably the best year ever for Montreal hotels. If u see a good rate, don’t think, just grab it :bolt:
Nope no kidding....and if you like clubbing go Friday or Saturday nigtt after 10h30 to PYRAMID 1---PY1--in Old Montéal---Old Port---best DJS--music in town and beautiful women.....unique ambiance.....moving in Miami in September.....you should enjoy.

Yeah, hotel rates are crazy in Montreal these days. I tried booking my all-time favorite Le Saint-Sulpice recently and was shocked when they wanted CAD$450/night! :jaw:
There are sometimes good deals for the Sheraton, think they’re discounting b/c of room renovations.
Not 4 stars but the newish Best Western Plus & Fairfield by Marriott Downtown don’t look too bad. Uh oh, think that’s my wallet talking

I haven’t visited in a while (3ish years) but I could of sworn I used to pay $150 for a solid 4.5*
8 friends and I are in town for the weekend, we came years ago for bachelor parties...seems like one of our fave clubs is closed. Any good ones that are open that allow more "fun" in the back or private dances etc?
Hotels Tonight app is offering St Paul for $192, Sofitel for $208 and Saint Sulpice for $222 on Sat Aug 10th. All US$. You think Hotel prices in Montreal are expensive during summer? Anyone check out Boston? Ridiculous! well over $300 a night and one of my favorite US agencies XOC.ch routinely sends hot GFE girls to Boston. The $300 weekend appt is significantly cheaper than the freaking hotel. Crazy.
Hoping Montreal hotel prices are more reasonable in the fall when I visit. At the current Montreal hotel rates, I would not visit Montreal for primarily a hobbying experience.
