Too much Christmas cheer for check stops

As the majority of people Christmas time calls for plenty of drinks and partying. Went to a Christmas party recently and had quite a few drinks and shots but still had the sense to take a taxi home. Sure enough there were many check stops along the way, but since I was in a cab the police waved it through every time , thank my lucky stars I was in a taxi. Only issue I have is now there is a taxi in my garage and I have no idea where I got it from or how to return it to the owner.

Of course but the amount of people who drink and drive is outrageous. Our judicial system sucks for penalties given out, suspensions should be 3 years and fines of $5,000.00 and then it goes up for second offence, causing death while DUI should be automatic 3 years in jail min.....

Quick story - when I was 17 I was fired from a job and in my rage-exit I kicked the door and it broke all of the glass. In court a drunk driver who was caught by police driving on a sidewalk at 5 P.M got less punishment than I did.

Yeah, the Punishment is still too lax. Personally I would like to see death caused by DUI punished by no less than five years. That way they go to REAL PRISON and hopefully learn a lesson.
