Trudeau and Canada have clearly been manipulated and used in furtherance of US foreign policy. Although China knows that Trudeau was being used as a puppet in all of this they did kidnap two Canadians and called them spies and tossed them in jail. They were basically sacrificial pawns for US foreign policy interests. They may well receive some payments or reparations from the US or Canada when all of this is over. However it's good to know that Canada can be used in situations like this when China tries to play games with the USA.

My point was that they are not getting fed well in all likelihood and certainly are not eating egg rolls and General Tso's chicken. They are more likely eating insect meats. Chinese prison kitchens are known for being economically efficient operations, which means the food sources are the cheapest ones available.
