I saw U2 play in Yankee Stadium, 1992, Zooropa tour. Great show! The stage was set up in centerfield. I had seats in the Upper Deck. This was U2 at the full peak of their glory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bono rocked, the Edge rolled, and a great show was put on. Unfortunately the Yankees that year did not provide quite as much excitement.

As I recall there was a very elaborate stage and light show to accompany the music.
