Well express,my friend. It's a relief to find that I'm not the only individual here who shares the same perspective on the incompetence and corruption within this administration and government. This city malheureusement doesn’t know how to host big events- getting in and out of the venue is the biggest headache. One way in and one way out can take you over 2 hours each way- they have no clue how to organize events. Born and raised francophone hère but must admit the Quebec and Montreal governments are the most incompetent in North America. Absolute idiots.
Raining off & on & very muggy for most of the day. The weather was somewhat better than expected & when the weather was clearing up the drivers were able to put in some decent runs. More of the same is expected later today with intervals of sunny skies & some rain. The cloudy skies mixed in with a bit of rain may not be that big of a let-down for the big race Sunday. I remember the first race i ever attended back in 2006 was sunny & very warm throughout the race. Many people including myself were struggling out there in the sun. The worse part were the unbelievably long lineups at the subway station after the race. With the heat & the sun waiting in line for close to an hour felt like three hours. However things were quite fine the following years. Maybe having a strategy how & where to leave the circuit helped. Taking my sweet time to leave likely helped also instead of rushing for the subway station & ending up having to wait in a lineup with thousands of people. That first time i went i remember being baffled people didn’t end up dying of a heat stroke or hear exhaustion while forced to wait in those lineups. How is the weather in Montreal, gentlemen’s? It seems that almost every year during the Grand Prix Formula One season, Montreal experiences unfavorable weather conditions. It's interesting to ponder whether this is simply a coincidence or perhaps a recurring curse on the city.
Absolutely! Weather forecasters have a special talent for keeping us guessing, don't they? Maybe we should just toss a coin to predict the weather - it might be just as accurate! LolI have a feeling that the weather may be better than anticipated on Sunday for the race. Weather men are wrong half the time, right?
Okay you can take this as bullying if you like but….My knowledge is top-notch captain, and unfortunately, some of you enjoy bullying others simply because you are bored and hidden behind a screen. I never engage in bullying behavior; I only express my opinions. However, some individuals choose to argue and bully me instead. Rather than embracing the forum for its intended purpose, some users seem to prefer engaging in pointless arguments. Is it feasible for us all to put aside any differences and come together to appreciate the world's best forum?
I have no issue with those who disagree with me, for whom I hold the highest respect. There is a way to respond to others without resorting to bullying, but rather with a gentlemanly approach.Okay you can take this as bullying if you like but….
You have many well written and informative posts but you also blend in some quite arrogant and condescending ones. Disagreeing is not bullying.
Opening with ”my knowledge is top notch “ is inviting people to form a negative opinion of you, nobody likes it when someone is beating his own chest.
A little humility can go a long way.
Best forum in the world ? You have got to be kidding.
A forum that has an ample supply of cheaters, perverts, and men that have a real hard time fitting in with society. We are not exactly the cream of the crop. Most civilians would not have a high opinion of us
Interesting and sometimes entertaining yes but best in the world lol.
Even the escorts that we frequent don’t seem to have a very high opinion of hobbyists, take a look at the majority of SP what they say on their Twitter feeds about hobbyists on review forums.
Sometimes it is good to have a dose of reality.
I'll stay on the topic...,How is the weather in Montreal, gentlemen’s? It seems that almost every year during the Grand Prix Formula One season, Montreal experiences unfavorable weather conditions. 100% agree, the reality being how many of us are talking about this "hobby" openly with their friends or relatives? We are not exactly the cream of the crop. Most civilians would not have a high opinion of us
Bwahaha on the day of the Grand Prix they post this article???One nice thing about the Grand Prix is that suddenly the Global Warming banning gasoline cars by 2030 news has disappeared from the news cycle. I guess it would be hypocritical to feed that type of news during the hype promotion phase of the grand prix.
Bwahaha euro version of NASCARI almost forgot what Euro trash was but was brutally reminded of it today when I went down to the Crescent Grand Prix site.
Oh my!
I remember the evening after the first GP i attended. I was sitting at the bar at one of my favorite hangouts at the time Weinstein & Gavinos. The place was fairly busy & sitting a couple of seats away from an elderly gentleman. Then he just suddenly started screaming & berating the barmaid in a parisien accent complaining it was taking too long to get his order. She politely told him that she was very sorry but due to the high volume of orders for the cooks to prepare it took a bit of time. He stood up while continuing to shout obscenities, threw something on the counter & walked out! I looked at the exasperated barmaid & i said “wow!” She shook her head & replied it’s always the same story with some of these people at this time of the year. They fly in from Europe & act like they own the city!I almost forgot what Euro trash was but was brutally reminded of it today when I went down to the Crescent Grand Prix site.
Oh my!
