I saw service providers when I was in my 20s, 30s and now 40s. Are you sure you aren't imagining how you wish life was when you were in your 20s, rather than how it really was? Guys, just like girls, are better looking and in better shape in their 20s but it is ultimately the environment you are in that determines your success in the civilian market. If someone isn't around a group of available women and/or doesn't have the free time that they require, a guy can't score regardless of age, and sometimes a guy has more important things to do during that stage of life than to allocate the time to traditional dating. I had more dates in my 20s than now, but I still enjoyed seeing providers in my 20s. Just my thoughts.

This is very, very true. The probability of getting laid was much greater back then but still no where near 100% like today.

I suspect the fellow who professes to be so baffled is playing it up a bit. He wants to suggest that he himself did quite well with the girls before he got old. But even if he was quite a tiger, I doubt he scored as many girls as he does now or that they were as good-looking. Getting with a whole bunch of hot girls, one after the other, takes one of two things:

1) an extraordinarily attractive person (and by definition most people are not extraordinary)
2) money

Hence the escort industry.
