US Citizen wishing I could move to Montreal

I've visited Montreal a few times and love it. The US and especially the state that I live in just doesn't live up to the hobby standards of Montreal.

Montreal is a 4 hour flight for me and there's a lot of money drained on hotels/airbnbs for trips. I think that having my own place would make it easier to have a second base in Montreal. I've tried to crunch the numbers on buying a condo as a vacation rental and putting it on AirBnB in between my visits but it would be a net negative financially. Not to mention all the hurdles of not being a Canadian citizen, AirBnB restrictions, getting a bank account as a foreigner, etc.

I've also thought about getting a job in Montreal to help get me a visa and relocate, but it could be very challenging as well. The job market in my field is very tight right now with all of the complications going on in North America. I also don't speak any French. I don't know how much of a benefit it is to recruit a US person into Montreal in my field.

As it is, I'm going to have to decrease my visits to Montreal due to the economy and geopolitical tensions.

Does anyone have any recommendations on how I could increase my hobby lifestyle in Montreal? Should I just stick to a few visits per year?

What do mean by increasing your hobby lifestyle? Is it seeing more people in a define amount of time? Optimizing your cost when coming here?

Do you have "needs" in a every amount of time? Are you flexible with your current work to come here for a long duration?

In a perfect world I would see MTL agency girls for a few hours once per week or once every other week. I don't have an equivalent experience where I am currently. Optimizing time and costs is also a factor.

I can only visit MTL for about a week at a time a few times per year. Since I'm only here a week I try to fit in as many visits as possible. It's like a marathon week. I would rather be able to make it more of a lifestyle.

I feel you Montreal has better women going at a lesser rate but like you said yourself with everything going on rn its extremely difficult you might have to stick to a few visits a year.

In your situation the best thing you could find is a US job where you have to regularly travel to Mtl for work reasons. That way your employer covers the travel and lodging and then you can partake.

But I'll tell you this.. traveling for work gets very old very fast.
