Using code in post

A long time ago, I remember being able to use HTML code in posts (on Perb, I have no idea if it was the same on Merb).

I've tried all kinds of ways to embed content and haven't been able to get anything to work. I've tried pasting directly "as is" in the text box, never works.

I just decided to try using the </> option

But then there's a long list of languages to choose from.

I tried with HTML, General code and a couple others... nothing works. I just get an error when I try to preview.

The
HELP page isn't very useful, so I'm stumped. Can we use code in posts, or not? If so, what language and how?

If anyone knows..... :)

Anna Bijou,

You can use the BB codes listed on the Help page, but you need to toggle to the BB codes, which is one of the icons on next to Preview on your right-hand side of the menu.

As for posting using HTML codes, it doesn't appear to be available on Xenforo (or it appears to be quite complicated to make it work):
