On entend souvent: 'lui, c'est un vrai homme". Mais c'est quoi un vrai homme? Qui a de l'argent? De la personnalité? du sex-appeal? Des muscles? Tout ça à la fois? Mesdames, j'aimerais avoir votre opinion là-dessus. Commentaires masculins aussi bienvenus, que vous soyez un vrai homme ou non!

We often hear: "this is a real man". But what is a real man? Someone who has maney? Personnality? Sex-appeal? Muscles? Or all that? I would like to hear from ladies, but also from you, real men or not!

Je suis de la gente masculine, mais vu que tu nous y invite aussi, je vais y laisser mon petit grain de sel:
Pour moi, un vrai homme (ou une vraie femme), c'est une personne qui s'est surpassé par ses actions et une influence constructive.
Il peut s'agir d'influence sur un grand nombre de personnes :
Ghandi, Mère Teresa, Thomas Sankara ont tous été des personnes d'un courage gargantuesque et qui ont d'une manière que certains ont apprécié --- et que d'autres n'ont certainement pas adopté --- changé le cours de l'histoire de leurs communautés.
Il peut aussi s'agir d'influence sur un environnement beaucoup plus restreint :
Évidemment, on a pas besoin d'etre Ghandi pour etre un Vrai -> on peut l'etre tout en exprimant -- face au cours des choses -- une sagesse exemplaire...une philisophie de vie et des principes uniques et constructifs.

Most men I know only have a vague awareness of the impact three decades of unrestrained feminism has had on public policy and relationships. The anti-male onslaught has succeeded in part because men have neglected to actively oppose it.

Every society change is something really scaring and take a lots of efforts to do.....Sometimes, in some areas, those efforts were too much heavy measures and in others areas, there was nothing good done. I think, in this present moment, things returning to something more balanced generaly. People are intelligents and they have understand the real message back of those, sometimes, extremes actions. It seems to me that our society is not perfect, but not too much bad. We are able to do and to say what we want. That's a good sign, i think, don't you beleive???

To say and do as you want is great IF you are not harming anyone else!

Real men are true to themselves, and are strong enough to help others find their own truth. Real men do not feel the need to define other people around them, with labels or boxes, like feminist or liberal. Real men do not judge people by society's labels, but gage a person's worth based on their real experiences with that person. A real man does not believe that there is a war of the sexes going on, or that he needs to be worried about losing his freedoms to women A real man would be baffled by this question, "What is a REAL MAN?" Because he just considers himself a MAN, and believes that all men are just like him, deep down inside. I real man does not feel the need to change all the minds of people around him who's hearts are filled with hate & fear.

I wish I was strong enough to just laugh at this question. I wish I was a real man too!

Write a poem, something along those lines:

Tomorrow may come,

If that someones says: "Oh, thank you! That's so sweet of you...", it's a woman. Alternatively, if the person says: "The fuck is wrong with you? Gimme a beer instead", it's a man.
