Well, you're right about it in some countries where sex and nudity isn't taboo, but you'd be very surprised about what you can find in muslim countries where that taboo does exist. Indonesia has positively the biggest MPs/Brothels I've ever seen, and right inside mainstream hotels at times. Just as an example, have a look at Classic hotel in Jakarta. Look at regular images and all of the venues you see will be girl venues inside what is quite a nice hotel. If you spread that search to look for "girls" or "nightlife" maybe you'll get some more They spread across 6 floors and have facilities onsite for FS. It's all P4P. The examples you were discussing in your post refer to instances of civilian promiscuousness or tolerance, but all of the stuff I was referring to in my previous post are non-civilian, P4P environments.
Montreal strip clubs do allow touching, officially incidental, and in a cramped private booth paying for company by song. In other places you buy the girl a drink, she plops down into your lap right then and there in the showbar, hangs out with you, sticks her hand down your pants and invites you to go back with her to the full bedrooms that they have in back/upstairs/downstairs for whatever level of fun you and she both agree to. It's just a different animal.
As for size, yes, the biggest stuff is in Asia. Europe doesn't even come close in terms of size. If you were trying to walk across the famous sex section of Pattaya, for example, many people take a Baht bus from one side to the other because it's too far to walk. We're talking continuous predominantly sex oriented business here. The scope is just something that people who haven't seen that kind of thing don't understand. The FKK clubs are relatively minor players and so are the latin american and african venues. The city sizes are staggering too. Going to Jakarta or Manila or bangkok is a somewhat humbling experience in terms of sheer people if you're used to NA cities. And within all of that is pretty much anything.
